12oz poured cold in to Spiegelau Sierra Nevada IPA glass.

A: Pours a hazy golden yellow-orange (lighter than usual) with a nice two finger lacy head that settles down to one finger. I have no idea if this IPA glass makes it taste better but it works wonders for head retention.

S: Wow. Shines here. Tropical fruit dominates with mango and pineapple. Resinous hops, strong pine. A little biscuity sweetness.

T: Comes in with sweetness on the front, strong pine and some tropical fruit in the middle, and dry hop bitterness at the end. This is good, but not as good as the nose.

M: Starts sweet and ends very dry. Can't complain.

O: This is a solid, solid every day beer. Living in California, I'm grateful to be able to try a NY brew. My only complaint is that the nose is much more inviting than the taste. Interpret my overall as a 4.33, I really can't decide which way to sway.

Served from a 12oz bottle into a Smuttynose Pint. Fridge temp. Bottled this month apparently.

Appearance- Hazy orange/gold with one finger fluffy white head that sticks around for a while leaving great lacing.

Smell- Fruity floral hops.Tangerine, peaches, grass, hop flower aromas. Not much malt. Very fruit forward. Very pleasant.

Taste- Peaches and tangerines first, followed by grassy resinous hops. Very light malt backbone. Super floral and grassy with an awesome balanced bitterness.

Mouthfeel- Well carbonated with a medium resinous body. No booze heat and medium bitterness factor.

Overall- Damn fine IPA. Glad I got to finally try it, especially when it's so fresh.
