Pours orange-brown with moderate head.Tastes like vegetal pumpkin along with earthy hops. Not hoppy, but not really sweet either. Above average, but I have had better in the style.

Pours a hazy but bright pastel orange with golden yellow hues to grace the edges. Fat khaki head of loose foam that falls fast and doe not leave lace. Nose is a bit of the pumpkin vegetable, the spices like allspice and nutmeg, cinnamon clove and a fragrant bit of ginger. The malt on this nose is a bit of graham cracker. The taste is fairly light and while it has all those spices it does not resemble heavy liquid pumpkin pie. It's drinking like a spiced ale. The mouthfeel is thinner and a bit slick but it has a nice dry pie crust for malt. It's a cross between cracker and a graham cracker. I really like it. The flavors are not more than beer. Light metallic that fades off after a few sips. Bright orange pumpkin with the spices to make it lovely and the surprise hit for my palate was the ginger. It literally uplifts the nose and the palate on this beer because it is graceful and in proportion. It brightens all the flavors without detracting from the beer in general. Finishes with a touch of sweetness and the dry malt to linger with all those lovely flavors.

Very nice Ithaca!
