Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours red yellow with a small white head. Smells of piney and citrus hops. Tastes of citrus hops with grassy notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

12oz can
canned on 01/03/20
L: hazed copper colored pale with a foamy ivory head
S: pine, grapefruity citrus, grain, caramel malt
T: grainy caramel malt backbone meets bitter pine and grapefruit & orange zest
M: medium body, moderate carbonation, resinous hop oils stick to the palate creating a bitter and dry finish
O: I like my APAs to have a malt backbone; this one has a nice malt presence that holds up well to the bitter hops

Poured from a can into a tulip.
Pours honey-gold with a nice lasting head.
Aromas of pineapple, soap, grass, floral and earthy hops.
Caramel and honey-kissed malts forward with citrus and tropical fruit flavors in midstream. Some solid well-balanced grassy and earthy hops at the finish.
The brew is medium light, well carbonated, and very drinkable.
Very well-balanced.

8/29/19...12oz can. Excellent and excellent! The citra hops really comes out and resonates. Well done CW Brewing. Very palatable and light with a minuscule alcohol aftertaste. 5.3% feels like a session but since it’s not titled as such, I’d suggest trying to bump it up to 6.0%. Jai Lai from Cigar City Brewing is VERY comparable. Nice brew, definitely buy again.

HHG APA pours a bronze color, with not much head. Nice bold hoppy aroma, lots of malts as well, with lots of earth. Flavor is a bit earthy, lots of malts, and lots of hops, with a slightly dry finish. Good body and feel. Overall, a very full, full bodied and flavored pale ale.

Pours rustic orange with a thin, white head. Good carbonation.
Smells of candied citrus and melon.
Good taste of citrus Hop with not much malt balance makes the hop stand out with a dry finish.
