The pour is dark brown with a beige head of foam. The taste is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, & a mild coffee note. Cheeers! B

Had from a can and was splendid! Nice aroma up front, creamy smooth, slight chocolate aftertaste. Refreshing.

The on tap version of this beer is so creamy and good, but the bottle version is meh. Since most of you will be drinking the bottle version I'll go with that. Nice head, smells of sweet molasses and chocolate. Taste is watery and slightly bitter. After tastes is pale chocolate. Not quite a Guiness but its decent.

From the 2020 Advent calendar
Dark and roasty malts are spot on. Unlike the recent offerings from the calendar that added actual chocolate, this one tasted a bit like chocolate without needing to add it. It's right in the name, "chocolate malt"-- why add cacao nibs?
Nice hop profile kept the sweetness down, and rendered this a "proper" porter. At last!

Day 21 of the Beer Advent Calendar
Dark brown with a mocha head. Slight roasted malt chocolate is mixed well together. Refreshing yet still a porter. Don't normally choose provers if thirst is my goal gut Id grab one of these.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little standard pours a
medium dark brown with tea highlights and a modest head of
fizzling foam that settles to a thin ring. Nose of dark roasted malts,
subtle coffee, subtle cocoa. Flavors follow the nose with faint char, cocoa,
subtle vanilla, dark cocoa, and earthy malts with subtle herbal notes. Decent
mouth feel; medium body, light carbonation, and a moderately dry yet lightly
watery finish.
Overall, decent after a hot day.
Cheers
