On tap at the brewery. I’ve had this many times. Light pale straw body. slightly bitter taste with a touch of honey. This is a pretty easy drinking beer.

On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Golden like a blonde should be with a creamy head that thins to a sparse lacing. Aroma is a slightly grassy/straw-like but is not reflected in the taste. The taste & mouthfeel are both very clean. The afterglow is a very light, slight bitterness. The body is near perfect for an ale.

Bottom line: this was a very pleasant surprise.

On-tap at Three Cellars, Franklin, WI:

Pours hazed golden with a lasting head that leaves lacing.

The smell is pleasant - but subtle - Bread, honey, a floral touch.

The taste is a subtle taste of honey, bread and a floral balancing dryness in the clean, crisp finish.

This is extremely drinking - very smooth and crisp.

For the style, this is a great beer. Clean, crisp, and refreshing. Honey is enough to add a unique sweetness without overwhelming.

12oz bottle dated 1/29/2015.

A- Golden copper body, hazy with one finger white head, great retention time, nice lacing and film.

S- Crackers, sweet bread, minerals, floral and earthy aromas. Nothing complicated.

F- Minerals, sweet grainy pale malt, doughy bread, mellow floral bitterness on the finish. Easy to drink, not complicated but reasonably sweet.

M- Thinner bodied, fair amount of depth, no booze, mild floral bitterness on the finish, crisp with no off flavours. Nothing special and quite average; could be better but overall solid body.

O- Decent blonde, nothing special with a pedestrian flavour profile. Fairly sweet, nothing specific to honey but a nice bready sweetness and mineral flavours makes for a decently drinkable beer.
