Pours an opaque black with a tan head.
The aroma is roasty-toasty. Lots of coffee and dark chocolate.
Coffee is up front in the taste with dark chocolate following, a touch of sweetness and a bit of char.
Mouthfeel is medium and creamy.
Very good.

1 PINT 6 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a snifter

This beer is almost black. I dot of ruby light shines through when held to the light. It is topped with an inch of mocha head that leaves a little lacing.

It has a nice fresh ground coffee aroma. I even get a little chocolate in there as well.

The coffee taste is wonderful. This is not a fresh bottle, but the coffee is still very upfront, but it has mellowed some. It lets some of the roasted malt and chocolate flavors come through without being completely drowned out.

Full, rich, velvety smooth

This is a fantastic coffee stout. I would love to have another, but it is not distributed in Ohio. I am glad I got the privilege of trying it.

I didn't warm the beer like I usually do, but the beer is probably about 40 degrees or so. There was no sign of a bottling date.

Look: the beer pours a dark dark brown, almost black, but you can see the brown ness on the edge. There's about an inch of tan, beautiful head.

Smell: coffee, and unfortunately I am not sending much else. Maybe some maple?

Taste: coffee, and that faint maple flavor.

Feel: the beer seems a little thin, but not bad. There's an ever slight bitterness in the finish.

A nice coffee stout, but in curious on the freshness. I'll grab another during the next release

Real dark brown pour, over half an inch of head on it, tan in color, big rich deep dark coffee kind of aroma, hits that sweet spot, good coffee aroma, nothing too exotic or fancy about it in a commercial tugjob sense.

Not a ton of malt roast, the coffee roast and dark chocolate and two row make for a real good meld in this coffee beer. Amazingly hides the alcohol, this is a big beer that would drink like an every day 6% porter. Well balanced, not overly sweet, bitter or roasted. Think breakfast stout with less chocolate. Its really up there in that grouping.
