Three-plus fingers of amber-tinged foam bult up as I poured from can into the glass. The scent wasn't so aggressive, yielding mild pumpkin/banana spice. Under the foam was a pale translucent copper (think banana and pumpkin combination again). Maybe my tastebuds are off, but this would be a better pumpkin beer than a lot of the ones that actually are. Slight smoothness and mild effervescence carry a slightly fruit(cakey) and bitter flavor from lips to throat, leaving very slight sour note at the end.

Ouisconsing by Central Waters, this is a 12oz. bottle poured into a 20oz. weizen glass. This ale is a pretty mahogany, slightly hazy, with maybe a finger of light tan foam. The head slowly faded leaving very little lacing. The beer is clear enough to watch the medium light carbonation parade to the top of the glass.
The aroma is sweet bread malt, very noticeable at the sip.
The flavor is simple but tasty. Sweet malt flavors up front, crisp with a very light spiced hop, with a subtle touch of bitter to cut the sweetness perfectly.
The feel is medium light.
This is good, easy to drink a few. I would never turn one down and if I felt like having an amber ale, this would be a solid choice.

A nice sold red ale. I keep it in regular rotation. This is from a local brewery and is one of their standard brews. It is a good drinker but not necessarily a thinker.

Not a very complex beer. I’ve had many from this style and there was nothing memorable about this one
