A: A smoky orange pour looks a orangish-amber in the vessel with a dense clarity and good deal of micro-particles suspended about. A slight milky khaki head soon disipates leaving no visible window dressing.

S: Soothing caramel-flower aroma with a good deal of toasty caramel sweetness there-after. Small touch of spicy flowery hops.

T: Flavor wise loaded with caramel, soft flowery hops with a slight touch of spiciness, the center stage is the malt. Caramel-citrus hops come through late in tasting but is pretty dominate when they do. Light bready dryness, pie crust, some piney notes with an increased hoppy awareness that is slightly sticky with resinous oils give this a better appreciation deeper into the drinking experience.

M: Thick syrupy body, decent rate of carbonation, once again, big heavy body.

O: Overall a beer that seems to increase with interest deeper in the experience. Doesn't start out strong impression wise but its the subtle things that come that save this from a below par example. The body is quite full, the hopping seems just right, good for two or three, spicy, a solid good try. worth a six pack for a try. Light abv% ensures you won't be weighed down.

Served in a Chicago Bears shaker pint glass.

I half-expect Alice Cooper to come out and explain some etymology here... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear sunset amber topped by a finger of dirty white foam. The nose comprises mild buttery biscuit, light caramel, flowers, and a general sense of vague grass. The taste brings in more of the same, the malt taking the van, the grass and flowers the tail. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, this just came across as a weak offering in general from CW. It verged on watery, it had no distinguishing character, and it just left me wanting in most areas when the glass was empty.

Appearance - Medium-dark amber. Short just off-white head with little persistence. Appears slightly hazy.

Smell - Light sweet malts and caramel. Only faint citrusy hops.

Taste - Begins sweet, though a little watery, with a touch of caramel or toffee. Finishes with a medium dose of citrus and floral hops that I wasn't expecting after the nose. Flavor is good, but comes across as a little thin.

Mouthfeel - Medium-light.

Overall - Not a bad tasting beer, reasonably to style, and certainly not something I'd avoid, but the dominant impression I get from this beer is that its a little watery.

Pours a nice, soapy, off-white head that collapses, leaving soapy lacing. A floral, almost tart aroma at first - notes of sweet, biscuity malt. Radiant, amber-red. Starts off oddly bitter, sweet, hoppy, and tart. Builds into a floral hoppiness, a touch of spiciness, then as the hops become somewhat citrus-rind like and medium bitter, the malt appears. A nice malt flavor begins to meld with the hoppiness. Lingering bitterness over the malt in the finish.

This isn't too bad. It's a strange initial flavor, but it rapidly transitions into something very nice.
