Pours hazy, orange-gold in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is citrus hops, orange, tangerine, slight grapefruit as well as some earthiness. Light bodied, tasty, and one I could have several of. I like other IPAs more, but this is certainly worth a shot.

From taste notes. Had on tap. Appearance: Has a chill haze that turns brilliant gold to amber as the beer warms. The cap is finely bubbled, 1” thick and off-white. Smell: Big grassy hop aromas over light malts. Taste: Starts with malt to biscuit and then finishes with lingering hops with a grass and grapefruit rind bitterness. Mouthfeel: Medium body and carbonation. Overall: Easy to drink and refreshing, sessionable.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a tall Summit EPA glass.

Appearance: Pours a fairly clear copper amber orange with a lot of rising bubbles. About two fingers of off white head that fade into a thin creamy layer. Leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass.

Smell: A crisp and juicy hop driven aroma with lots of citrus and earthy esters. Very hoppy scent upfront with citrus fruit hints of grapefruit, orange peel, pineapple, tangerine, mango, and lemon. Earthy hop hints of grass and some oily pine resin. Fairly herbal. Balancing presence of sweet pale malt with hints of bready grains and biscuit, sweet caramel, yeast, and crackers. A pretty solid light IPA aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a bright, crisp, juicy, and zesty hop driven taste with notes of citrus and grass. Upfront citrus fruit esters with notes of grapefruit, orange peel, pineapple, mango, tangerine, and lemon zest. Earthy and herbal hop notes with some grass and oily pine resin. Decent sweet malt backbone with notes of caramel, bready biscuit, grains, crackers, and yeast. Nicely bitter and smooth. Solid hoppy taste.

Mouthfeel: Body is on the lighter side of medium. Carbonation is moderate. Juicy, bitter, and somewhat oily. Very drying and pretty smooth.

Overall: A very solid session IPA. Good bitter and juicy hop flavors with a moderate body and lower alcohol.

A: Golden-red, decent foam but no lacing.

S: Sweet and spicy, but not overwhelming. Paradigmatic pale ale.

T: A sharp and resiny beginning -- almost too much so -- with kind of a grapefruit finish. Almost too much sharpness, unfortunately.

M: Lingering spiced notes.

O: Pretty good, and very flavorful for such a low ABV. I realize that's what makes it sessionable, but I can't picture drinking very many of a beer that didn't have a bit more sweetness to balance it out.

Try it again? 3 - Maybe.

On tap and served in a pint glass

A - Orange and golden in color with a light crisp white head. Slightly reflective and clean looking. - 3.5

S - Very floral in the nose as I get hints of hibiscus and lemon peel - 3.5

T- Very floral in the flavor profile as I get hints of hibiscus and other very floral flavors. Slight lemon peel that gives it a bitter aspect in the finish. Reminds me of Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker by FFF. It is a bit too floral for my taste. It seems to overly rely on the floral aspect and, in my opinion, that prevents its from being sessionable- 3

MF - Light body that makes it easy to drink with light carbonation as well. Has a slight stickiness to it as well - 3.5

O - A decent and very floral IPA from Central Waters. It really relies on the floral and isn't my cup of tea - 3

(Served in a Nonic)
A- A hint of hazy in the bright copper body has a lumpy white head that sticks to the glass in sheets and last the full glass. There is a gentle carbonation of tiny bubbles that glide up the glass.

S- The green woody bright hops has some pale malt fresh finish.

T- The bright green herbal hops has a slight juicy finish with some hints of pale malt. There is a note of some biscuit malt that comes through as it opens. There is a slight minty quality to the soft pungent green hops that linger.

M- This beer pours a medium mouthfeel with a gentle fizz.

O- This beer has a nice full hop flavor with a light bitterness and it is in that classic N.W. Coast character.
