The selection of beer here is limited to a few coolers. They have multiple treats from Rogue, along with other various brews I had never seen before. I picked up some Bink Bruin, some Boont Amber Ale, Rogue Dead Guy, and some of the local favorites of mine like Cottonwood Low Down Brown and Highland Brewing company's IPA.

The short time I was there browsing the beer coolers someone did come by and ask if they could help me or make any suggestions. They seemed like very friendly folks.

In addition, the wine selection is enormous.

Chapel Hill Wine Company used to have a descent at best beer selection with some rarer cantillions, belgians and british imports but they recently got rid of their entire beer selection. I believe they still do cary beer at their sister store (hillsborough wine co.) so that might be a place to check out. The service at chapel hill wine co is excellent tho and they have a large selection of wines and all the people are very knowledgeable. So stay away if your looking for beer but they have nice wines and good service.

Decided to stop by the shop after hearing good things about some of the interesting beers they carry. The location is a wine store that sells a reasonable amount of beer. There was a dedicated cooler about six feet wide with 3 sliding doors that had individual beers lined up in rows. When I was there on a Thursday quite a few of the rows were empty. I found the selection to be heavy on the English side.

The owner says he tries to rotate in new beers when possible. He is also a strong proponent of Popping the Cap here in NC. Would be interesting how his selection would look after a law change?

Worth checking out if you are in the area.

This place is about a mile away from my house. So I drop by on a regular occasion.

They only have a small three door cooler for their beers, with rarely any warm stock. They allow for mixed six packs, so it's perfect for a night of tastings. The selection is good, but I've noticed that the stock doesn't turn over very quickly.

I always wonder how old beers are when I buy from this place.

The staff is great, and if you are looking for wine I would totally send you here. They've got a great selection of very affordable wines. If you're looking for beer there are better places in the triangle, but none too close by.
