My first gueuze. As I was hardcore wine lover started to drink beer just half year ago, I would advice to start with this type of beers when you are planning to change from wine- to beer-way :-)

Color: amber, clear. Foam slightly yellowish, medium bubble, sizable.
Aroma: white grapes, scanned the lemon, a little stable.
Taste: white grapes with a dash of lemon and sugar.
Gentian: at the finish, grassy. Saturation: high ideal.

Deep amber with a meringue-type head. If only the aroma and taste were as nice as the head looked. Aroma is more cider-like than geuze, although there is some faint funk in it. The taste of apple juice along with mild carbonation makes it drink more like an apfelschorle than a geuze. While this is certainly easy to drink, given what the style demands, it's just too watery to recommend.

.25 bottle. Kobbegem sign. Looks golden in the glass. Nice Aroma of grapes and sweet Fruit Juice. good taste sweet and sour. I can taste the spontanious yeast+sour fermentation style...But too much sugar added in my opinion. ..

Pretty weak in both smell and taste: hints of sour apple and white wine. Odd sweetness behind the sour flavours. Not that charmed by this particular gueuze. Tastes more like weak cider. Come to think of it, it even looks like one, due to the quickly disappearing head.

Look: clear dark golden. Ominously dark (caramel is coming).
Smell: funk and fruit.
Taste: it's sour definitely, but way too sweet. It almost feels like a fruit lambic without any distinguishable fruit (besides the trademark green apple).
Feel: good as expected. Light, fizzy... as it should be.
Overall: rather disappointed. Can't see myself buying it again.
