25 cl bottle into a Mort Subite goblet. Clear amber red body, small head, good lacing. The smell is all cherry. Taste begins with sweet cherry, tart in the middle, cherry in the end with a fresh cherry aftertaste. Light body, pleasant medium carbonation. A fresh drinkable kriek. Not very sour, but not too sweet either. Tastes like real cherry, not artificial.

A: The beer is clear reddish amber in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a finger high off white head that died down, leaving a short head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of cherries are present in the nose along with some hints of oak.
T: Like the smell, the taste is dominated by flavors of cherries along with underlying notes of berries. No sweetness is perceptible.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate to high amount of carbonation. The cherries contribute slight amounts of tartness.
O: This beer is easy to drink and the cherry flavors didn't seem to be artificial or too sweet.

375mL corked and caged bottle poured into a tulip. Best before 01/28/2015

(A)- Pours a deep crimson red color. Produced some solid off-white to pink froth with surprising retention and lacing for the style.

(S)- Huge aromas of slightly tart cherries. Quite clean on the nose apart from some subtle dryness. Otherwise massive cherry jam notes.

(T)- Subtle tart & dry oakiness leads the way into mountains of jammy cherry juice.

(M)- A good carbonation level for the style. Not overly sour or acidic, but great fruit notes. Very clean for the style too with no funk but a bigger sweetness to it overall.

(O)- Its a milder lambic for sure. Great fruit with some oak, just lacking the complexity and sourness one can expect for the style.
