The pour on this beer is really great, nitro beers are always fun to watch. Leaves a great fluffy white foam. There isn't much smell to speak of, lightly floral hops. Very light flavorless beer. Its light, easy drinking and silky smooth from the nitro. Not a bad beer, not really great, its just an easy drinking pub ale.

DATE: March 5, 2017... OCCASION: first Sunday feast during the season of Lent... GLASSWARE: Hop Devil nonick... quite a spectacle straight from the can, with a cascading effervescence that roils up the glass that piles a thick, steady snow pack of white... body is honey amber, with the slightest traces of bubbles around... soft buttery notes begin the aroma... some malty traces, but tough to notice more... a dank, bar rag aroma lingers, which doesn't endear it... sips a creamy, understated body--almost light-bodied--that lingers on the teeth moderately... a thin maltiness finishes... some citrus hints--lemon grass, mostly--with apple, butter, and basement... maybe a bit better than the sum of its parts, as it encourages the next sip as a "pub" ale should, with mild bitterness and crushability, but not among the pub ales I would suggest or serve to others....

I bought a four pack from a local bottle shop. They were fairly cheap. There was a code on the bottom of the can but no date. I'm guessing the date was in Julian. After chilling the cans for about three hours I carefully cracked one open and then using the 45 degree angle technique poured the contents into a nonic pint glass. Once settled the color was amber and a nice two finger thick head. The beer smelled of white bread crust but it was faint. Upon sipping it tasted smooth, creamy, and slightly sweet. A decent amount of lacing. The mouth feel was creamy, a little slick, but refreshing. Over all not a bad beer even if it is mass produced. I think they did a nice job with the can and widget. Normally I would have deducted for it being owned by Inbev but unlike Bass they did a nice job. I noticed The Bros said this beer was awful. Well they can go FUCK OFF. This is a good beer.

A: Slight copperish orange color, with a thick, creamy white head that leaves a good amount of lacing.
S: Slight sugary aroma.
T: Fairly sweet, little hop flavor, mostly biscuity malt.
M: Medium bodied, surprisingly thicker than you'd expect given the tastes.
O: An okay beer, that I would try. But, I'd never make a habit of ordering this one.

Poured into a frosted pint glass.
Nice Head
Noticed Initial separation and activity - like a Guinness.
Tart aftertaste.
A little too mello for my taste, but overall a decent beer with very low ABV.

Surprising all the negative reviews.I suppose I will! never be able to unlike this given -- for years -- the only nitro can beers you could find were Bod , Guinness, and a couple others. Snob is as snob does.

This is one of my favorite session beers. It's just harder to find where I live. As many others point out, it pours copper in color with a fun cascading effect that you get from nitrogenated beers. The head is a dense, creamy foam that does leave some nice lacing on the glass. It smells and tastes a little sweeter than a lager, and has a creamier feel. Over all, it's a nice smooth, crisp beer that's really easy to drink. Highly recommended!

Poured from "draughtflow" (nitro) can into English pub glass

Look--Spectacular head and lacing--but "thin" looking--kind of like iced tea.

Aroma--Not offensive, but there isn't much. Fruity and floral, but lacking any balance from anything.

Taste--Creamy and smooth, and fairly sweet. Generally lacking in anything to offset it. No real malt, hop, or other notes to speak of. Again, not offensive, but not a winner either.

Feel--Creamy rather than carbonated. Rather thin. Sticky and cloying rather than crisp. Lacks a good finish, and as a result, isn't terribly refreshing or drinkable.

Overall--Not a drain pour, but not a repeat. Look elsewhere.

Looks thick and dark. Smell is mild. Feel is smooth and creamy just as like promised. This feels like a real pub-beer right out from a can =) Easily drinkable beer. Not good for great amounts thought, because after 1 liter taste begins accumulate and feel awful, so it's not so drinkable anymore.

Näyttää paksulta ja tummalta. Mieto haju. Smooth and creamy, lunastaa lupauksensa. Tulee mieleen oikea pubiolut. Pehmeä, helposti juotava ja jälkikäteen vähän kihelmöivä. Helposti juotava, melko laimea. Pubimaisia mielikuvia nostattava. Hyvä perus olut. Kuitenkin litran jälkeen maku kerääntyy ja olut alkaa maistua pahemmalta, joten suurien määrien juontiin tämä ei ole soveltuva.
