Served in a British pint glass on tap at Walt Disney World - Epcot Rose and Crown Pub (United Kingdom).

Presentation: This beer poured a cloudy golden color, translucent to nearly opaque. There was about a three-quarter-inch thick head with very good retention. There wasn't much of a scent to this beer at all, so it's about average - not good, and not awful.

Tasting: A very well-balanced flavor hit the tongue. It wasn't sweet, but it wasn't really bitter either. There was more malt character than hop flavoring. This was a medium-bodied beer that was very easy to drink. I would consider this a potential "session beer."

Overall, a decent brew. I would recommend this possibly as a crossover beer.

Drinkably barely-but not something I would order again. Little taste and bitter in a bad way. It was almost as if the beer had gone bad it even had an unpleasant odor.
med tan in color, little head, a thin texture in the mouth and flavors that were identifable
This was part of a 5 beer flight of pale ales and was easily the worst of them.

Got ths beer on-tap at the local brew-pub.

Great looking beer as the pour settles. Nice thick foamy head and good dark golden color.

Smell was just ok, sweet malt and grain.

Taste and Feel was a creamy and malty this is a sweet brew that feels soft in your mouth. Not much to the taste.

Could drink a few of these.

What a bizarre beer! Pours a ridiculously thick head which, when viewed from directly above, looks like milk. A thick, orange beer with loads of carbonation evident. It's pretty frightening to look at, to tell the truth. Smell isn't half bad--just relatively simple. There is a perfume-y apple juice smell, laden with pungent notes of other fruits (banana and pear, I think). The taste is bland and safe, but not bad--the same fruity smells surface on the palate. But there is an awful pang of plastic midway through that is really pretty disgusting. (Fortunately, the plastic pang is short-lived.) Tis very thick to drink, and the carbonation that I was expecting (given the head and bubbles) somehow hardly exists at all. While this is no favorite of mine, I can see myself pulling one out of the fridge once in a blue moon just for the camp-factor.

Boddingtons ale is a very tasty beer

A-Golden Yellow once it cleared up with a creamy 1" head that sticks around for the whole beer. Love the cascading.
S-Not much of a smell, slight sweetness
T,M-Sweet Malt taste with a citrus. Creamy and smooth.
D- Great session beer, tasty

From draft at Nick's Pub in St. Louis

This is my favorite ale. I always get this when it is available on draft. From a can it is remarkably similar to draft.

It arrives at the table still rolling with carbonation. It typically settles with a finger or so if thick, rich cream colored head. Medium to dark amber color. Very pleasant aroma.

The taste is very smooth and mellow. Very well balanced. Slight hop flavor, but not strong or intense. This is an excellent beer to start the night with, or for session drinking.

This beer pours from the nitro-can with a thick creamy head and clear golden body.

I perceive very light aromas of lightly toasted malt, banana and honey sweetness with papery newsprint and earthy clay finish.

Very light flavors, slightly fruity(banana), bookish and grassy.

Somewhat watery and thin, yet smooth.

Refreshing on a hot day.

Ahhh, an old favorite, this is one of the first beers that really showed me what beer could be. Has it lived up to my memories as my tastes have matured? Not quite . . .but I still feel like this is a quality mass-produced brew. A decent looking pour with an attractive head, a nice creamy, frothy, taste, I sense banana, am I crazy or is it there. A beer milkshake type of feel to it. Really the taste is a bit empty compared to what I'm used to, it comes and goes so quickly. Not offensive, just a bit weak. It doesn't live up to the better brews I have graduated too, but it does live up to the memories.

It's great when you pour this beer and watch the cascading, but after that it's pretty downhill.

It's not a bad beer, but definitely not a good one.
It's pretty forgettable.

A - The cascading rocks. The beer pours a pale golden color with a beautiful creamy (cool whip almost) white head.

S - Nothing to grabby on the smell. Has a very pale dull smell to it.

T - The taste is very dull and uneventful. Almost watery. Infact I probably would have rather had just drank a bottle of water.. I wouldn't have spilled it all over when I opened it... and I'm convinced due to it being in the can, that's where you get this metallic aftertaste. UGH!

M - I was a little disappointed when I felt in my mouth. I thought it would be a lot creamier and heavier after I got a look at the head.

D - It's actually pretty drinkable because of the watered down taste.

I'd really like to drink this on tap though. I'm sure it'd be a much better way to taste it.
