The beer is clear golden color with a white foamy head. The beer has a very light aroma to it, slight sweetness, slight hop, slight metallic. The beer tastes grainy and metallic and has a lingering after taste. The beer is creamy and easy to drink but not much carbonation.

Poured from a pint cam into a Weizen glass. I've done this pour many times and I'm always amazed at the head on this beer. Retains a solid 1" head for 5 minutes. For the first time, I've pinpointed that aroma I couldn't quite put my finger on. Banana bread, with slight notes of hops. Color is not too different from domestic (American) lagers; maybe a tad darker. Smooth and creamy on the tongue. Slightly bitter. Nice lacing. Still a quarter inch of head halfway through the pint. Overall, as you might've guessed, I think it's a pretty good beer if you're in the mood for something lighter than Guinness.

A: mostly-clear golden yellow color. A thick 1 finger white head that is a definite indication of the nitro
S: grains, some butter, slightly metallic. Not much to it
T: breads, a big hit of sweet berries, creamy, a hint of grains
M: medium, silky mouth. Easy to drink
O: it's a smooth drinking beer. I've definitely had better English Pale Ales, but the nitro makes it smooth and easy to drink. Almost refreshing.

Revisiting this old friend that I haven’t seen in years. So glad to see you, my golden-hued pal. My how time flies and things change.
When I was a wee lad in the nascent stages of my beer fancy, I regarded this brew as a fine import; a thick, creamy, sweet, bitter and hearty ale. Now it drinks like a lighter-bodied ESB.
The can is still cool with the widget, and the pour still nice. Solid, tightly packed head atop an amber-gold body. Aroma and taste are bitter hops, light toasted malt and a touch of pear.
Drinks easier than I remember - almost thirst quenching - with a slicker mouthfeel. Not nearly as thick or creamy as I recall. Still an enjoyable beer that brings back fond memories. Its sessionable ABV and bitter undertone has its place.
