16 ounce can into imperial pint glass, best before 4/2017. Pours clear orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and creamy off white head with incredible, retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Dense creamy lacing clings down the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, biscuit, honey, light pear/apple, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, biscuit, honey, light pear/apple, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, honey, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Light carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a nice English pale ale. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Looks great, smells ok. Taste is average but below my expectations.

Has good mouth feel and finishes very smooth.

I wouldn't buy this beer again, it was sub par.

When this beer is poured out of it's can into a clear glass it is mesmerizing. The thick, fading head is fantastic! The head is sweet and ultra-creamy. Can't help but tp drink half of the beer in it's foam form. Once settled you can an enjoy a more typical pale ale. It has a slight bitterness, long lasting finish.

Pours a clear, copper color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and slight lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, adjunct, hint of hop, slight sugar, and a hint of tea. Fits the style of an English Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, hint of adjunct, slight sugar, hint of caramel malt, hint of tea, and a hint of hops. Overall, adjunct flavors are detrimental and the feel is too sharp.

Pours like cement- creamy light tan head that would be appealing if the orange-copper body instead offered some contrast, รก la porter or stout. Smells like sawdust and raw grain. Tastes like sawdust and raw grain, with some cream of corn and a very unpleasant metallic, nearly tangy, finish. Bubblegum come up on the burps. As bad as this is, the feel is worse- again, the nitrogen creaminess doesn't work well with this flavor profile. It's like drinking dusty half and half.
The core flavors are fine, right alongside the usual macrobrew beers, but the flawed aftertaste and horrible decision to make it nitro turn this a pretty unpleasant experience.

This was pretty much all I drank while studying abroad in the UK as an American. Great body, unique flavor, and smooth going down. A bit like Guinness, but on far less steroids. Not amazing, but decent, and certainly worth trying a pint at your nearest pub/hole in the wall with an English dish.

I believe this is more of an English Blonde Ale, not a Pale Ale, so let's just keep that in mind guys, okay?

The pour on this is incredible. Foam gushing straight from the crack of the can, and as you pour it, the head oxygenates and stays steady at 1 finger. The color is a charming goldish blonde, with just a hint of opaque glassiness to it.

The aromas linger around bright fruits - apple and pear mainly, and a golden baked malt body, with a hint of wort and rye bread.

The flavor brings more of those apple notes out, with a surprisingly bright and crisp flavor profile. Floral, starchy malts marry with a pinch of hop to create balance, and it ends on what I imagine a humid British brewery's air would taste like. Some slight sour bitterness accompanies the profile...otherwise, nothing wrong here.

Feel is creamy thanks to the widget in the can, and mildly carbonated to keep it from getting stuck from its thickness. Semi dry parch at the end.

Overall I don't understand the complaining. This is a fabulous sessionable pub ale with all the right points. It's not the best beer in the world, but I'll gladly have another. Very decent.
