A slightly stronger version of our instant classic, Helles Lager. Made with pure glacier water and the finest imported hops and barley we could find on the earth. The result is an incredibly dry and sparkling lager for only the most discerning of palates.

Single can from Bottlecraft North Park in San Diego - purchased in late February 2025 - canned October 4, 2024.
Pours a clear dark golden colour with a finger plus of tight bubbly white head, delicate lacing.
Nose is immediately a mixture of grainy and bready malt with spicy hops; floral and perhaps a honey note.
Sweet and spicy on the palate - again grainy bready malt, hints of honey with bright floral and spicy hops, a very soft herbal bitterness.
Clean and bright mouthfeel that is at once easy drinking with brisk carbonation, yet somehow full and so satisfying. I love their Helles, but this may in fact be better.

wholesome lager flavor! a little extra abv and an amazingly smooth ride.... not much on the nose, though, and the pour is light and weak.... but tastes amazing! and the Underberg is a great enhancer!
but there's NO damned ate on the can! that is never a good sign...

Can from Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.
Pleasantly sweet, more like an "Imperial Helles" if some brewer wanted to get silly. Warm and even rich, with some nutty background flavors. Spritzy and mouthfilling. Overall this is quite flavorful, but so easy to quaff. Better than the Helles for sure and a better than average Export Lager. Dated 4/10/24.

Can from Market of Choice
The nose is a lovely, rich, doughy bready note, caramelized, mildly toasty with rich melanoidin malt. Soft, lemony hops. The palate is smooth, creamy, softly sweet yet bitter. Clean, crisp, drying finish. Lovely

Crystal clear golden body, two fingers of white foam. Smell has grassy hops, grains, bready yeast and pale malt. Taste adds slight lemon zest, minerals and slight herbs. This is excellent!! Feel is crisp, full, clean, dries out and has a kiss of paleness.

At Windsor homebrew supply in Anaheim, CA.
Beautiful golden hue, fluffy whitehead jumps up then slowly settles down into a thin film. Good Retention slight layered lacing.
Nose has a gentle sweetness coupled with a light herbal, grassy hop note.
Flavor ramp it up with everything the nose hinted at. Really balanced.
Mouthfeel is spot on. Light, crisp, smooth carbonation. Finishes clean and mildly dry in bitterness.
