Very sweet and buiscuity. A late bitter which is a little odd.

A very malty smelling and tasting beer with honey sweet bread and a slightly spicy subtle floral hop. It is definitely on the heavier side of the Maibocks I have had though.

Got a bottle at Bar Munich at Champions' League final.
Smelled really good, sweet and bock-like, but the taste have a strange bitter taste, not sure it's from the hop.

11.2oz bottle into Nonic Pint
L403434J11 date code
L- dark brown, clear, thin white head
S- apples, sweet candy
T- very sweet caramel, that is immediately met by this bracing bitterness, and goes back to sweet on the finish
F- fuller-bodied, syrupy, finishes dry
Overall this beer is so unique, I'm not 100% sure what to make of it, it is incredibly sweet and bitter at the same time

On tap at the Pour Taproom in Greenville.
Pours with a amber colored body that has a light haze. It's topped with a tall, durable, creamy, beige head.
Aroma: surprisingly hoppy for style; a bit too musty.
The flavor has mild bitterness but plenty of other hop flavors, mainly of the herbal-floral variety. Possible off-flavors (bad sample?).

One of the original beers of this style, this one pour a nice light amber with a decent head. The aroma is predictably sweet and malty but with a bit of an alcoholic kick. The taste is rich and toasty with a mildly carbonated mouthfeel.

Pours a completely clear orange color. Thinnish white head dissipates rather quickly.

Smell is a robust array of bready malts with some earthy almost grassy hops and a touch of spicy yeast.

Bready malts in the flavor with a slightly bitter earthy/grassy hop finish. Touch of honey like sweetness.

Full bodied, not really . Medium carbonation.

Overall a really nice well crafted maibock.

L- pours a clear, golden amber with good carbonation. Has a big, white, foamy head that dissappates quickly.
S- Wonderful breadiness and hop smell you get from traditional, German beers. Extra maltiness.
T- AAAAh! Taste follows the nose. Light carmelizing and hop. Bitterness in end. Malt continues well after.
F- Extremely smooth transitions.
O- I love good, old German beer companies that do it right!
