A- Golden orange, completely clear and fizzy. Pours with a 1 finger head that dies down quickly with no lacing.

S- Smell is very faint but I can pick out the pumpkin flavor, an intense sweetness and a big amount of spices.

T- Tastes like pumpkin bread. Mettalic tinge at the end that didnt bug me at first but as I got to the bottom of the beer really started to make me feel like I was drinking something from a BMC.

M- A bit thin and very carbonated.

D- I dig the taste for something this price and I definitely don't regret drinking it but something this sweet is more of a novelty then something you could drink a few of. For the price at trader joes it definitely was at least on par with what I expected.

12 oz bottle served in a Deschutes snifter. I found this bottle in my parent's fridge and no one knows how it got there.

A: Pours a clear amber color with with thick white head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly, but no lace is left behind.

S: Pumpkin flesh, lager yeast and notes of pale malt with some light cinnamon. A littler mineral water as well.

T: Old/rotting pumpkin flesh. Some mettalic/tin like tastes and then a huge rush of cinnamon. It's like chewing on a cinnamon stick.

M: Light bodied, standard carbonation and drinkability.

O: Wasn't terrible, but definitely over spiced and the mineral water flavors weren't a turn on. Will not revisit.

Water with a little spice and alcohol.

The smell is the best part with mainly Cinnamon.

The taste is one dimensional cinnamon with a super light water taste on the back. No malt or pumpkin to be found.

Not a good beer nor a good pumpkin ale BUT if someone handed me one I would have no problem finishing it. Also you could down 3 or 4 no problem and being $6 a 6 pack you can't beat that.

A-Very orangy pumpkinish clear color with a 1" head settling after 5minutes to a laced rim.

S-Somewhat bready and much like pumpkin bread.

T-Strong seasonal tastes up front with a simple (somewhat lacking) finish.

M-Thick and frothy at first diminishing into a dry slightly bitter aftertaste.

D- In a deserted situation I would go for another, but if there were other beers available beyond craptastic macro's ... I would seek another beer.

Nothing special or out of the ordinary, another pumpkin pie spice beer, lots of cinnamon and nutmeg. Light bodied, overly sweet aroma, 10/28/16 additional notes from KBC Pumpkin Ale from Trader Joe’s. Flat pour, pumpkin pie filling aroma and taste, finishes sweet with pumpkin pie spice notes

Served in a Chicago Bears shaker pint glass.

This bottle finished out my Trader Joe's mixed sixer. It pours a clear apple juice topped by a bit less than a finger of dirty white foam. The nose comprises pumpkin pie, graham crackers, and apples, though everything has that peculiar scented candle-style artificiality. The taste waters all of that down, though some nutmeg and pumpkin seeds somehow find a way to make themselves heard. The body is a hefty light, with a light carbonation and a somewhat watery feel. Overall, a sub-par brew that really didn't have much going for it at all.

Pours a clear golden orange with a quarter inch ivory head that lingers.

Ginger, cola, sweet caramel, and floral hops comprise the aroma. Cinnamon and clove scene.

Cola is the dominant flavor, with cloves and ginger taking over the profile. Cinnamon is also evident. Caramel malt is overshadowed. The finish is slightly bitter.

Body is moderate to light, with fairly high carbonation, making it spritzy.

Very much a spice bomb of a pumpkin brew. I'm not a ginger or cola fan, so not my thing. Becomes metallic.

Shopping at the Trader Joe's, spied this bottle on the 'singles' rack. $1.00, what the heck? 12 oz. twist-off to a pint glass; notched 'Best Enjoyed Before: A(pril), 10'.

A: (Surprisingly) golden, a straw-wheat with minimal head (short & white, brief creaminess, broken film). Mild haze, a few streams of slow-rising carbonation. Looks-wise, nothing to get excited over, nor the worst-looking beer ever.

S: An odd mash-up of 'corny' macro-lager and 'pumpkin' spices. Caramel and red apple are included, a vague smell of 'autumn' although of the 'scented candle' variety...meh.

T: An 'Apple Jacks' spice is what immediately comes to mind - a semblance of apple and spice but all very artificial-feeling. Honey-wheat, more than anything. The 'pumpkin' flavor here is more allspice, just a dash, and really lacks the earthy/pungent/tangy elements found in versions of the style I favor.

M: A lively mouthfeel, 'springy' and reasonably carbonated. A touch on the buttery side with a spiced tingle hanging around after. Light-medium body, slightly buttery/slick.

D: A mediocre (at best) version, nothing to get excited about. Hints at 'October' like that one cool day in August, then pulls back, leaving only disappointment. If you like the style, give it a try - but stick to a single. Or pass; what do I care? Just sayin', don't go out of your way for this one...

Very light beer. Pleasant pumpkin pie flavor. This is a beer to enjoy one at a time for something different. Much lighter than most pumpkin beers.

Beautiful orange-tinged yellow color with an appealing white foam in the tall Maredsous glass. Lots of prickly carbonation. Strange smell of Jello and some sort of cupcake, however. I can't believe the weird spice is cinnamon.

The flavor starts with an uncomprehending moment as the citrus acidity, the bitterish spices, and the tart candy taste all roil about in the mouth. The flavor is like some tropical fruit soda with a touch of tamarind and butterscotch Lifesavers. The slight bitterness of undetermined origin does little to make this palatable.

This is one pumpkin that doesn't rise above the flotsam. The pleasant sudsy mouthfeel is the only redeeming feature. From the 12 oz bottle purchased at Trader Joe's.
