It taste like rubber. The first sip had a crazy cinnamon spice sort of thing but after that I thought I was drinking rubber flavored beer. This is the first beer I ever dumped down the drain.

Ginger, lots of nutmeg, some cinnamon and a vegetal flavor. A hint of bitterness on the finish. Light bodied. It's really not good, but sometimes you just want to shut your brain off drink something less than stellar.

This is a crime against beer. To use an analogy, this reminds me of those coffees that are infused with some artificial flavor and aroma to enhance the taste. The pumpkin taste feels like a perfume that was added. If you want a pumpkin ale, do it right. There is no substitute for Dogfish Head's version.

Golden colored with a fingernail of off white head covering half of the top. Aroma is strongly of pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The flavor is overly spiced pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon and nutmeg and is quite artificial. The mouth is heavily over carbonated and has excessive spices.

very heavy on the clove and cinnamon. would have preferred more 'beer' characteristics and less pumpkin pie/soda pop taste. how you experience this brew will depend what you're after. I was expecting a beer and was disappointed.

Poured into a shaker pint glass, yielded a slight half inch head that quickly faded to a thin film, leaving no lacing down the glass. Aroma was pretty scarce with a muted bit of spice, and something a bit sour I couldn't quite grasp. The taste was about the same, with the spice, especially nutmeg and a bit of cinnamon and clove. I also got just a hint of pumpkin, and a slight bit of hop bitterness and the same sour taste as what I smelled. Mouthfeel was pretty thin, but fairly well carbonated, probably the biggest redeeming value of the beer. Overall, this is not the greatest representation of the style, told my wife not to buy this from Trader Joe's in the future.
