Type: 12-oz. bottle
Glass: Modern Times pint glass
From: Trader Joe’s in La Mesa (San Diego), Calif.
Price: $1.00
Purchased: Oct. 15, 2015
Consumed: Oct. 15, 2015
Misc.: N/A

Poured a honey, golden, pale, clear color with a finger of fizzy, greyish head that dissipated about as quick as I poured it. Average amount of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Poor lacing on the sides of the glass. Poor retention. (Sight - 2.50)

Smelled pumpkin seeds, cinnamon, pumpkin pie, red apple cider, honey graham cracker and carrot cake. (Smell - 3.50)

Taste wasn’t quite as good, but still the obvious pumpkin flavors. Getting cinnamon stick, sugary pumpkin spice, apple cider, carrot cake and cinnamon graham cracker. (Taste - 3.25)

Light body. Thin texture. Average-to-soft carbonation. Abrupt, water finish. (Feel - 3.25)

This wasn’t as terrible as I thought it was going to be. I am a sucker for pumpkin beers, but this wasn’t bad, especially for the price. (Overall - 3.25)

not the best, but i dont think its quite as bad as some of the reviews its getting. thick head of foam quickly recedes, no lacing, clear golden/orange color, lots of carbonation. initially the nose is kinda nice, hints of pumpkin, cinnamon, other spices. taste is pretty average, pumpkin seems a bit artificial. very watery and light/ easy to pound. overall pretty mediocre brew, worth trying but nothing to rave about.

I found this bottle at my local Trader Joe's.

With a pristine yellow color, it boasts a nice concoction of warm spices, little pumpkin flavors and sweet, pure cream soda without the artificial-tasting ingredients that make the soda. While it lacks the character that, say, the Pumpkin Down from Ballast Point excels, it has a crisp, clean aftertaste that compliments the malt backbone. It’s as though you are having a nice dessert beer after a meal, like pumpkin pie without the pumpkin! Overall, this is a good, albeit slightly watery, pumpkin ale, but the Pumpkin Down is more balanced with extra pumpkin in it!

The apple overtones were a welcome surprise. Better than Pumpkick in my opinion. Not as much head and aroma as I would like, but an enjoyable drink.

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a pale, crystal clear, golden coloring, with an uneven, bubbly, foamy, off-white head. Steady flow of carbonation throughout the body. Aromas of pumpkin spice forward, with highlights of vanilla and a breaded backbone. The pumpkin spice is prominent, and the other aromas come off a bit muted. Flavors are tangy cream and pumpkin spice forward, with notes of caramel and an almost sugary sweetness. Comes off like a piece of candy, or really sugary pumpkin bread. Light, effervesced, crisp body, with a subtle pumpkin sweet aftertaste. The finish is light, crisp, and effervesced. Meh.

Nothing special about the color, looks like your typical pilsner or whatever. Aroma hits hard at first whiff of pumpkin, kind of artificial like extract. Taste is a good amount of pumpkin up front(once again sort of artificial), and then...............the beer dies, flavor leaves, aroma gone and just goes down hill....Mouthfeel is kind of like dirty dishwater...

Kennebunkport Pumpkin Ale has an initially very thick, off white head, but that fades, quickly, and leaves no lacing behind. The appearance is clear, bubbly, and orange-gold. Aroma is of pumpkin pie, pie crust, pumpkin pulp, and pumpkin spice candles. Taste is of those same elements, with some acidity and low bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and fairly watery. KBC Pumpkin Ale finishes crisp and easy drinking.

Meh. Mediocre light beer with no real flavor of its own, with lots of pumpkin spice flavoring added. Kind of slick mouthfeel with some moderate carbonation. Won't bother with this one again.

Very light beer. Pleasant pumpkin pie flavor. This is a beer to enjoy one at a time for something different. Much lighter than most pumpkin beers.

Clear deep gold with one finger of short lived head. Spots of lace.
Smell is cinnamon spice and some malt.
Taste is similar to the nose with a slight hop bitterness at the end. Mostly sweet spicey pumpkin pie flavors.
Mouthfeel is fairly light with good carbonation. Finish is light sweetness.
Overall a decent pumpkin beer but like most of these kind of beers one is enough.
