12 oz bottle. - pours a nice deep amber with a nice 1/2" off-white head with decent retention. the beer is perfectly clear. no lacing is observed. on the nose, I get sweet malts along with hints of caramel, and even toffee combined earthy hops and some esters from the yeast. the taste is a bit on the thin side and disappoints. there’s the expected medium sweet malts with the caramel showing just slightly. the bitterness is there but it is more for balance (as you’d have in an English IPA) and not much for flavor. then there is something in the finish that is annoying. after a short sweet finish, there is a wave of unpleasant flavors that linger a while. the beer has medium body, with semi-rich, creamy texture. and moderate carbonation. overall the beer starts pleasant, but ends not so much. still it is drinkable.

it really is horrendous. I unfortunately purchased it at Trader Joes without checking it out. it smells and tastes stale.

When homebrew meets commercial production, you get something of this appearance. Looks like a weak Newcastle kind of brown ale. Fails to form head because it is drastically lacking carbonation for style.

Aroma wasn't hoppy. English tea. Moss. Earth. Blast of rubbing alcohol.

The floaties in the appearance might as well be dirt because the gritty particulate feels that way on your teeth.

This truly is an epicly bottom tier ipa. Truly tastes more like an English brown ale than an English ipa. Shit, Samuel Smith's IPA kills this one. . .

12 oz bottle, smudged date. Label is under the KBC name

pours a clear copper color, white head. aroma is earthy, a little sweet. taste is a bit stale, odd aftertaste. just not something I'd want to drink again. medium bodied.

A: Pours a medium amber color. The head is small and the retention is almost
non existent. lacing is also terrible.

S: Sweet and malty. Fruits. Toffee or coffee?

T/M: Clean and watery. Light hop presence. Sweet malts. Light carbonation.
Has a small hop bitterness, but it quickly fades away.

O: Is this an IPA? Pass.

Cheers!
