Pours a nice medium dark amber with nice foam. Aroma has nice notes of banana with a taste of the bread. It could use a little more of all of the above, but still a good tasting beer for the year round season. I was a lil under-whelmed, but I may have been over excited to taste grandmas banana bread...hahahaha I still enjoyed it.

Pours a dark, but clear, murky amber with a finger of white head on top. Fair head retention with good lacing left behind. Aroma is banana right from opening the can. Tree nuts, and biscuit and bready malts fill out the remainder of the aroma. It legitimately smells of banana nut bread. Flavor profile is banana, tree nuts, and bread malts from the start. As the banana and tree nuts fade, the malts add biscuit and nutted malts to the harmony. It starts like some heavily flavored soda pop, but finishes like a beer. Mouth feel is crisp from the opening, but then forms a more effervescent feel as it sits on the tongue. It has a medium thickness. Overall, a flavorful and unique beer that holds true to what the name suggests. Well constructed.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 12oz can.

L: Clear orange colour, quarter finger white head, ok lacing, good carbonation.

S: Banana.

T: Banana, malty.

F: Very light unfortunately, no body. Overly carbonated too.

O: If this one had thick body and less carbonation, it could be a world-class beer. Now it's just an ok beer.

L: brilliant copper under a 1" white to cream colored foam collar with fair retention

S: aromas of bananas and "natural" banana aromas and flavors which give the banana more intensity

T: While more malt comes forward as it warms, the banana still dominates. The sweetness is above average and the hop bitterness and flavor are low

F: body and carbonation are medium

O; a big banana beer that could use more malt character or less banana to better evoke banana bread

Normally I think fruit and beer don't mix but this one is excellent, it taste just like Banana bread without overdoing the banana, has a nice thick body that fills the stomach, and excellent beer to drink after a nice meal or with breakfast.

A very clear amber/burnt orange, with a finger of white foamy head that sticks. The aroma is big banana bread, duh, and holiday type spices. The flavor, same deal. Smells great, taste is a little less intense. Feel is light body, average carbonation, and a bit oily. Not bad. I'd love to taste an imperial version, where they could step up the feel. Nice lacing down the glass.

From a 500ml bottle served almost straight from the fridge at 11 degrees Celsius into a tulip. Best before date: 25.04.2018.

Look: The beer pours a brilliant deep amber/light copper with 3cm of puffy, off-white head that fades into a partial film in less than 2 minutes. Good lacing and decent overall head.

Smell: Moderate strength and balancing towards sweet. Fruity, floral, and earthy hops. Faint pale malts and toffee with quite a bit of banana.

Taste: Follows the aroma seamlessly with moderate strength and good balance. The front is fruity (mostly banana) and hoppy (earthy and floral) which switches over to soft, sweet malts and a lingering hop bitterness. The finish is medium in length, of moderate intensity, and well-balanced.

Feel: Medium body with high carbonation. Prickly and mouth-coating with no apparent alcohol.

Overall: A solid, quite refreshing, and easy-drinking fruit beer. Somewhat complex in nature with the special ingredient adding a layer instead of it being overpowering. Nice harmony between all the ingredients. I might revisit the brew every now and then because of its value.

So, after having this beer I really do want some banana bread. The color is a nice gold married to amber. The head dissipates a little quickly for me and there is some minor lacing. The nose is a subtle nod to bananas and the taste was quite good. The mild bitterness is spot on. There is a pleasant blend of banana and caramel and the mouthfeel is "just right" for me. I'm heading back to the store to get some more to try to cook with this beer. Overall, a pleasant surprise.

Decanted from a 16.9 oz bottle into a conical pint glass; no production information evident.
A: Pours a slightly orange, medium amber color with no more than a quarter inch, off white head. No significant lacing.
S: Aromas of toast/biscuit and banana.
T: Flavors of caramel and banana, nicely balanced with mild peppery bitterness. Slight (pleasant) banana aftertaste.
M: Light to medium bodied; only mild carbonation.
O: I did not expect to like this, as many "fruit" beers emphasize the fruit far too much. I have to acknowledge I was surprised by how modest the banana flavor was and how well integrated with the whole. Very solidly constructed.
