473ml can - so named after a style of housing architecture popular in East Vancouver from the 1960s through the 1980s.

This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly off-white head, which leaves some decent broken cobweb lace around the glass as it evenly sinks out of sight.

It smells of juicy orange, red grapefruit, and lemon rind, bready and doughy caramel malt, a hint of earthy yeastiness, and some leafy, weedy, and dank pine green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy caramel malt, muddled domestic citrus flesh, a lesser exotic fruitiness (mango, maybe?), still extant yeasty notes, and more plain leafy, herbal, and piney hoppiness.

The carbonation is fairly laid-back in its bored-seeming frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and generally smooth, with nothing in particular a cause for concern here. It finishes off-dry, the citrus fruit and wan graininess winning the lingering day.

Overall - this one starts off promisingly, but quickly settles into a sort of rut, in that there is no pop, no sass, no, well, IPA-worthy edginess. I'm getting less and less interested in this offering the more I drink of it. It's not bad, it's just not all that good.

Poured from a 650ml bottle 6% ABV, 60 IBU
A: Pours a hazy light golden amber with a nice white head that stays and lacing that sticks.
S: Not much of a nose yeast and hops but very low key.
T: For me its a mild IPA not Big & Sturdy but more of a session IPA.
F: Clean finish medium carbonation with a nice bitter hop hit.
O: A nice all round IPA i would put it in the session IPA's for sure but very drinkable.
The 2019 version is out bought a few 472ml cans ,canned on April 11/2019 so super fresh and as good as ever.
