Had this one at the brewery recently as a rarity. It was a collaboration with a local winery.
Appearance is golden and light with a light head that diminished quickly.
Odor is light and fruity with some wine qualities.
Taste is light and fruity with a mix of wine and beer. It has some little sour notes and some crispness and is higher in carbonation. Ends somewhat dry like a white wine.
Overall, it is a good blend. Has a good wine flavor mixed with the beer. Light and refreshing and a good collaboration.

So this is a collaboration with a Virginia winery using their Vidal Blanc grape must. Sampled on tap at the brewery during their launch of this November "Brewhouse Rarity."
Sparkling cider-like in appearance. Champagne-y qualities come across immediately in the flavor, almost more so than beer qualities. Though everything seems watered down, with little of the lasting sweet, dry alcohol finish you get from sparkling wine. Slight tang, with apples and lemongrass. Light hoppage and light caramel malt.
Tons of carbonation that smacks you like seltzer water. Very bright, clean and refreshing, but ultimately watered down and unsatisfying.
