I'm a pale ale fan, flat out. this is an interesting brew, different from most pale ales i've had. It's not as carbonated as others and has a darker taste. Overall not bad, but there are better in this price range such as Sierra Nevada pale ale and Full Sail pale ale

Pours a clear copper color with little head. Aroma is hoppy and floral- very pleasant as if it were an IPA. Taste is very bitter with a bit of sweetness accompanied with maltiness. Fills the mouth up with flavor, but not enough sweetness or spicyness to balance out the bitterness for me. Goes down kind of rough. Decent beer.

A: Pours a dark ruby red/brownish color. A large beige head forms and leaves lots of sticky and patchy lace.
S: Some nice floral hops with a spicy and fruity (orange and citrus) aroma. A good dose of caramel malt as well.
T: Sweet malt and some fruity hops again. A nice bitterness, but nothing really stands out like in the nose. The flavor is pretty muted in comparison.
M/D: A medium body that is a bit watery and thin. Slick and oily as well. An easy and smooth drinking pale ale. Something I can session with no problem.

This is a good beer to relax with. Not to complex, but a very well crafted beer. Something that will find its way into my fridge more often.

Poured from a bottle into an American pint glass.

A - Poured dark amber, low carbonation, and modest head.

S - Aromatic hops but not overwhelming for a pale.

T - Well balanced and not a hop bomb like some pales. Sweet malt with the hops.

M - Medium to full bodied feeling for a lower ABV.

D - Good. Could do several of these.

Overall, I like a more balanced pale ale so I enjoyed this.

Tasted this with side by side with several other APAs and this one was in the middle of the line-up preference-wise.
