Pours a slightly hazy orange/amber into a fifteen ounce glass mug the same temperature as the beer. Small tan head that hangs around. Some patchy lacing.

Nose is of sweet malt followed by light brown sugar. Very light on the hops side. A little fruitiness.

Sweet on the palate. Dextrin. Flat molasses. Bread. Hops understated.

Thin and watery. Sweet finish with poor hop balance.

Not a bad pale ale. Not great either.

Extremely fruity and tropical in the nose and with what a color! Tempting golden amber, feels great, light bodied, well balanced APA. The hops are there in the taste as well, earthy and piney with a slightly bitter aftertaste, awesome drinkability. Flying Dog did it again with a classic American Pale Ale.

From Optimus Beer. In shaker glass. At roquetas de Mar. In shaker glass. Smooth, a bit sweet with grapefruit and orange citrusy notes and a soft bitterness. 1 month before bbf date.

Poured from a bottle into a glass.

Overall: a good APA, but not remarkable.

Clover honey colored. A slight haze. Thin foamy head.
Smells like sweetened grapefruit with the bitter zing of the rind.
Taste follows the smell with a grapefruit-like hop character up front. A bitter and dry hop character in the middle is reminiscent of rinds, peels, or grape seeds. Finishes with a malt tease that quickly disappears.

Diacetyl all over. I did get an expired bottle. Take that for what you will. Not horrible, but not something I'd seek out again, even if it was fresh.
