The Road Dog Porter had a dark, rich caramel appearance. The aroma was chocolatey and bisquity with hints of some sweetness. This porter had a deep mocha/chocolate flavor but seemed a bit overcarbonated. This is a good porter and I would definitely drink this again.

Those brown and dark red colors. Off white head 1/2". A lot more roast in the nose than I saw coming.
Taste, still more roast, coffee from the malt flavors. Nutty, caramel, toffee, coffee. Hopping is there too. A little dry finish. Not bad stuff. Assertive and bitter with all that other stuff going on. There's a bit of a scotch ale vibe going on underneath it all as well.
