I picked up a mixed twelve pack of Flying Dog beer on Friday night. It poured a bronze color with little head on top. It is pretty cloudy. The smell is of wheat obviously with pine and citrus. The feel is very smooth and refreshing. The taste was of a wheat beer with some fruit to it. I really enjoyed this beer and look forward to picking up a six pack of it.

355 ml bottle, as Flying Dog In-Heat Wheat Hfeweizen, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Also available in some Norwegian grocery stores. Hazy pale golden colour, big white head. Typical hefeweizen aroma of ripe bananas and cloves. The flavour also has notes of ripe bananas and cloves, medium sweet, soft mouthfeel, very drinkable, low bitterness. A good hefeweizen - no more, no less.

12 oz bottle. Hazy yellow, medium frothy white head. Aroma is as expected; banana, clove, spices, wheat. Light to medium body, some spice and sweetness initially.
