One of My Favorite American Made Witbiers,Flying Dog Brewery Makes some Great Beers, and "Woody Creek" is simply an Outstanding Witbier IMHO~
Poured into a Sam adams Pint Glass~Right away you know this is a wheat beer,Cloudy and Hazy with a nice frothy,Fluffy head that forms instantly,[about an Inch] and last quite some time for a wheat Beer,a straw color with the slightest touch of an almost orange Hue,a Very Pretty Beer Indeed.
This Beer smells Amazing! you really get that Orange right up front, and a Nice wheaty Aroma mixed with Assorted Citrus Scents..Very Nice!
as GR8 as this beer Looks and Smells,it Taste even Better,The first time I tasted this Beer,I said WOW so loud that it freaked my dog out,and he ran under the bed;)
Very Tasty Beer,Smooth and super drinkable,Crisp and clean to the max,of course you get some of that Orange and just a Hint of sweetness up front, but not too sweet, and a nice peppery finish with a touch of Mild Hops and very lively Carbonation you can feel as it glides right down..Smoooth!
This Beer goes Gr8 with Fruit,Oranges,Pineapple,Melon and such, awesome with white Grapes! perhaps not the best choice for burgers, dogs, wings and other pub Grub,I pretty much Love this Beer as an "Apertif"~ In other words,a Fantastic beer to have Before a meal,a few days ago I was having a BBQ with some friends, and we had many Ice cold Woody Creeks before Dinner,[Steaks grilled with Onions & Peppers]and then switched to Dead Guy Ale to enjoy with the steaks~Perfect!
Cheers & Peace2All.

Shared 355 ml bottle at local tasting, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate but nice aroma of citrus, a hint of coriander. The flavour is fairly decent too, but would probably be even better if the bottle had been fresher. Some malts and citrus, only a hint of coriander.

On tap at brewery:
Cloudy white gold, though the full pour didn't give me and indication of initial head buildup. Medium thin rim could be better, and lacing could be heavier.
Nose is cereal and earthy spices, decently powerful here on site. I get a Cheerio flashback in a way. The lightest tang breaks up the "duller" scents.
A less full body than expected meets my palate, though as it passes over my tongue, there is a nice softness. Grain, bread, cereal, and a light touch of banana. Earthy spices (want to say like coriander or cardamom like) seem to lead to a dull wooden note that works nicely for me today (this could also be psychology in effect with the beer name). Warmth adds a little strength to the spice.
I really enjoyed this beer as showing a malty but not very sweet beer. No known actual spices added, but I can see the resemblance to the notes of a much lighter spiced Allagash or Optimal Wit.

Woody Creek White | Flying Dog Brewery. Poured from the bottle into a pint glass, this beer's head is three fingers thick, with lateral lacing, and a hazy pale golden body.
I smell very refreshing, aromatic lemongrass and citrus zest very nicely accented with peppercorn.
Tastes like this really hit the spot on this scorcher of a day. This seems to have one of the best blends and representations of the traditional elements of this style I've experienced thus far.
The mouthfeel is medium-light with fair carbonation.
I'll rate Woody Creek White | Flying Dog Brewery with an overall 4.75. Of course this is retired, but I still rather enjoyed my experience.

Pours a cloudy, yellow colour. Smells fruity, banana, earthy hops, hints of vanilla. Pretty light tasting overall, clean, fruity yeast, not much on other flavours. Would be a nice on a hot day.

From the bottle, it pours a light golden with a small head. Light scent. Taste is very light with a wheat flavor - very little malt on my tongue. Enjoyable but not memorable.

Not FD's best, probably why it's retired. Boring, but eh, it's beer.
