this one goes out to my man Lou
Galaxy Hut
a: served in a standard shaker pint at galaxy hut, the imperial hefe is opaque with yeasty haze, banana yellow in color, sporting an average bone white head
s: big clove and banana from the bready yeasts on a body of wheat and pale malts, enough residual sugar to give more sweetness than the standard style usually permits, grassy hop aromas, sugar cookies, some alcohol, a big and bold hefeweizen nose that imperializes without totally disrespecting
m: medium bodied with yeast slurry and malts, carbonation around moderate
t: heavy wheat malts with a notable sugar presence, some slight notes of caramel or bready pale malt, huge yeasty, estery flavor with lots of banana and clove, lightly hopped to a papery/grassy note, something of a longer finish with warming alcohol
o: simply a hefeweizen on steroids, nice clove and banana from the yeast with a strong malt body producing some alcohols, but nothing too distracting, tasty
