While karma's biting you in the ass, it's kissing his. A profit of prosperity, he's the guy you love to hate. And just when you think his fate's on the brink, that bastard's life falls right back into place.

Poured chilled in standard ale glass

A: dark copper color; small head; no lacing
S: twiggy; bad yeast aroma detracts from the rating
T: earthy flavored red ale; hops on the bittering side; malt slightly carmelized; light complexity; astringent
M: mealy

It's ok, but I don't plan a return trip.

330ml bottle bought from Lighthouse Wines, Jordanstown...

Poured a mahogany brown colour... Creamy tan head poured quite thick then faded slowly to thin layer... very light carbonation... some decent wispy lacing...

Aroma - Nice strong caramel maltiness, some light fruitiness (figs and raisins), biscuity hints, light molasses hints, some nice nutty sweetness, light peppery hops, faint toasted bread notes...

Taste - Lots of caramel maltiness, some light spicy hops, light nutty sweetness, maybe a faint hint of nutmeg and cinnamon, some biscuitiness, some light prune and fig notes...

Feel - Nice and smooth... Medium bodied... Very, very quaffable - a nice session beer...

Overall - A decent bog standard Irish Red Ale... worth a try
