Pale gold with a couple fingers of bright white head. Some tropical fruit in the aroma, fairly light. Light, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Again, some tropical fruit hop flavor up front. Very little bitterness on the backend. Said it's easy drinking right in the name, but maybe too much so.

Nice clear gold with head full of randomly sized bubbles. Head receded to a ring which scattered splotchy lace on the glass.
Mild aromas of citrous hit my schnozz.
Taste was a heavy duty (for a 4.7 beer) grapefruit hops punch in the palate.
More body here than you might think with just the right amount of carbonation.
I could drink this all day. Good stuff!

I'm not a huge IPA fan but this was available on the Friday $4 craft beer list. The description of having a bold citrus taste with smooth finish of apricots and peaches sold me on it. I did get the bold (bitter) citrus flavor but did not taste the fruity finish. All in all it wasn't bad for a non IPA lover. Would possibly have it again

12 oz. bottle, with some sort of coded bottling date on the label. The new session IPA from Flying Dog, acquired a single bottle as part of a mixed six pack at the local Binny's.
Poured into a Lagunitas mason jar.
A - It pours a golden yellow-orange body, semi-clear with two fingers of bubbly soapy white froth for a head. Doesn't leave behind much lacing, but it looks good nonetheless.
S - The aroma is pine, resin, citrus rinds, grapefruit, oranges. Herbal, grassy, & pithy. A pleasant aroma for a session IPA.
T - Taste follows the nose - grassy, herbal, & citric. Grapefruit, orange, lemon rinds, pine needles, resin.
M - The feel is crisp & clean - lightly bitter / resinous on the finish. Light-bodied and somewhat watery for the style, but it works well enough for a session IPA.
Overall, an easy-drinker, but a little low on the hops. Not a session IPA I would seek out again.

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter (my Had was a 4 for the Brewhouse Rarities version, which I was told by someone at Flying Dog was a different recipe)
A: Super clear bright yellow fizzy piss. Just a slight head on a swirl, but it goes away fast.
S: Floral and hoppy, with a pine subtext.
T: I remember this tasting better, but it might just be the recipe change. This has definitely dropped down a few pegs on the session IPA tier for me. Just this weird slightly malty hoppiness that just tastes like bark and not in a good way. Slightly watery.
M: Prickly carbonation, but it is watery so you really only feel it on the tip of your tongue.
O: Grab a Stone Go To or get a DayTime from Lagunitas. Eh, just not what I remember.

Pale golden see through, bottled this tastes like citric, hops clean finish almost watered down hop pellets go figure. Bright white head fine even speckled lacing down the sides of the glass. Aroma has a nice aromatic quality with herbal citric hops and a nice pleasant biscuit malt profile very clean overall. Flavor is where it falls a bit flat. Bitter hop pellets watered down clean malt profile, I guess it's a way to save calories but flavor wise these leaves a hophead wanting way more. I'm glad every one is brewing a version of this but look they can be flavorful and have some serious malt texture and complexity. I had the Thirsty Dog version weighing in at 4% abv last night, it had flavor all day on tap...I want more session IPAs like that and less that tasted like a watered down malt base infused with hop pellets. I'm not being harsh here, I'm just being constructive it's a great style when executed properly but many brewers are jumping on the bandwagon before perfecting their version. Mouthfeel is thin nearly like carbonated water too carbonated at that, slick hop oils just barely grace the palate bitterness lingers creating a very dry finish with little to not residual malts. Overall, I think I expressed my opinion on this topic.
