Appearance - Pours a cloudy dark gold with a finger width of bubbly white head.

Smell - Bready and biscuity malts, wheat, lemon peel, light citrus hops, caramel.

Taste - Bready, biscuity malts and the caramel stand out up front, along with a touch of wheat and the light citrus hops provide a little bit of bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Light to medium bodied with light carbonation.

Overall - A refreshing golden ale that could easily be sessionable. Good solid base of malts and caramel.

Golden color with a two finger head with medium retention and leaving some laces.
Aroma of English hops with notes of caramels, flowers, white grapes and bread.
Flavor of bread malt, citrus, English earthy hops, guaraná and white grapes. Hints of tea and lemon. Dry aftertaste with an elegant bitterness.
Light to medium body with appropriate carbonation.
What a pleasant English beer to drink, very tasty, but also light, refreshing and balanced. Extremely sessionable. Worth the recognition from CAMRA.

Bottle. Golden amber. Thick dense head. Good lacing.
English hops, lemon and malt biscuit on the nose.
The caramel in the malt becomes more pronounced on tasting. Hops remain.
Medium body and carbonation that brings out the flavours.

Hand-pulled pint on 27th Sep 2013 in a local club.

Golden body with a good, full white crown.

The nose was both floral and mildly malty, as as the taste. A dry bitter finish comes along after the initial malty caramel notes that linger for a while in the mouth.

Pleasant rather than wonderful, a good solid beer with subtle flavours and smells that show you don't need strong, overpowering brew to make a fine beer.

A: Orange-amber liquid with a very slight white head.

S: Grassy and sweet, almost tea-like.

T: Tastes like sweet tea, some caramel, grassy hops, and lemon. Definite English hard water in this ale.

M: Medium viscosity and a very low level of carbonation.

O: Almost tea-like, similar to Tetley's in this respect. Easy drinking but not very memorable.

Completely random purchase, no expectations going in
A - Clear golden, thin head dissipated quickly to a few random islands
S - Tropical fruit and bubblegum are strange but enticing, some grain
T - Its grape bubble gum, plain and simple, with some leafy hops and mild grain in the background, it’s a little odd but it seems to work
M - Light with medium carbonation, finishes lightly dry and minerally
O – the flavour is definitely not what I was expecting but it works for me, this would make a nice light summertime sipper
