Developed in collaboration with The Field Museum. All net proceeds from the White India Pale Ale will benefit The Field Museum’s Education programs...(the beer is a collaboration) with Chef Cleetus Friedman...a traditional India Pale Ale spiced with coriander and orange peel for a refreshing summer beer.

"Best by 1/12/15"; drank 8/31/14 @ the Yarchives.
Poured from the bottle into a glass.
Clear orange/yellow hue.
Big white head; nice lace.
Fresh soap & mild orange citrus nose.
Thin mouthfeel.
Crisp, clean water, mild orange citrus & fresh soap flavors; mild caramel notes as this warms. Easy to drink but not light on flavor. Nice!

First, I'll say I'm drinking what's meant to be a summer beer in winter, so that may have dropped my score a bit....that said, this poured a very hazy, cloudy gold into the glass, with little head, what there was disappearing quickly into the glass; leaving a thin white carpet on the top of the beer and tiny bubbles covering the sides of the glass. A bit of astringency on the nose with hints of citrus and coriander. The taste and mouthfeel are citrusy and light on the tongue. Lots of white pepper and effervescence on the tongue. This would be a great beer to try in the summer, just ok this time of year but a worth effort.
