Heavy Handed IPA is brewed to celebrate the harvesting of the hops every year. Within moments of harvest we add freshly picked "Wet Hops" to this IPA. Since the hops have not been dried before use, they add a wonderful character found in no other beer. A hop lovers dream. (Available September through December) Each batch is "single hopped" with a different hop variety.

Finally something from Two Brothers that I really enjoyed. I love their ability to think outside the box when brewing.
A- A little bit of sediment floating around with a nice cloudy orange appearance. Fingers worth of head.
S- Fresh. The smell really pops on this beer. Piney with a touch of alcohol, but well masked. You can smell the freshness in this beer.
T- The hops take the stage and provide a nice grapefruit and citrusy taste. This is well balanced between the hops and malts
M- This has a medium to heavy carbonation feel. It seems to coat your mouth a bit.
D- A pleasure. A good example of wet hopped IPA that really was worth a try. I look forward to having this next fall. Thanks Two Brothers for a job well done.

2020 cashmere wet hopped version. Poured from can to pilsner glass. Cloudy murky look, thin head of foam. Smells like normal IPA, nothing sticks out. Taste is also par for the course, good, nothing to sneeze at but nothing particularly special. Low carbonation leads to a kind of thin finish on a medium bodied beer. The taste is mildly tropical, melon, guava, more sweet than sharp or bitter. A decent, normal tasting IPA, will not disappoint but will not leave a lasting impression. Would benefit from higher carbonation and a more pronounced flavor. Wet hopped makes me think it will really present the hops, but this falls short somehow, or cashmere is a very mellow hop variety.

Maybe it's the style (wet hopped) that doesn't particularly Tickle My Fancy, but this is heavy on the malt and light on the hops to my somewhat unsophisticated palate. A bit flat on feel as well. Worth a try and I reckon I will finish the six.

She pours a nice cloudy burnt orange color and leaves the same colored body with a nice one finger white foamy head that leaves super nice spotty spider web lacing. The way the head dies is enthralling as it lingers a bit, turns lumpy, picks up the pace and then slows down, not sure how else to describe this, but what a show! The body is clear yet there is no carbonation seen rising. The smell has a magical earthy, bitter hoppy and malty, aroma that wants to pierce my olfactory senses but maintains a super nice balance between all. Its practically almost perfect. The taste brings back the earthy, hoppy, maltiness and gives a good citrus back-up that I really like. On the palate, she sits about a medium, with a superb creaminess, nothing harsh on the tongue. Though the ABV is fairly high, this is a fairly drinkable IPA. Overall, for a long time I didn’t like IPA’s and then I learned to distinguish between English and American and thought I liked the English more, this one really changed my mind.
