Two Brothers Brewing Company "Pinball"
12 fl. oz can, "SWIRL BY: 04/16/2018 09:51"

Notes via stream of consciousness: Did the bottom of the can really say "SWIRL BY"? Maybe I'm misreading it. I don't see why you would, there's no yeast in here, it's crystal clear. I can even see my fingerprints through the glass. That's fine by me, I just assumed it would be cloudy because of that, and because it's a "JUICY HOP PALE ALE". The body is a deep golden, and the head was a creamy bright white before I let it sit too long while writing this and now it's just a thin surface covering surrounded by a thicker collar. The aroma mainly expresses pineapple and melon, but there's also a light bit of soft citrus. It's pleasant enough, but not really bold. The flavor brings in a grainy malt, some more grassy hop flavors, and a stiff bitterness (31 IBUs as listed on the can). It's medium-light in body and crisp with a standard carbonation. At this point, although the hops are a bit different (they seem like Belma to me), it screams American pale ale and I doubt anyone in a blind tasting would interpret it as any other style. With that said, it's enjoyable, easily drinkable, and somewhat different although not really the juice bomb you might be expecting.

I bought a can of this off the single shelf at Binnys....poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent and taste were of an over primed can and was crap. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with big carbonation. Overall it was poop.

My wife and I went out with a couple friends of ours on a breweries tour a couple weekends ago. Our final stop was for dinner at the Two Brother brewery and since I'm on a bit of an pale kick at the moment, I decided to order this one up.

This beer pours a clear, amber color that shows off moderate carbonation and a white, frothy head that dissipates nice and slowly to a thin lacing that is retained. 4/5 The aroma is both tropical and citrusy with notes of orange and pineapple really coming out strongly while being backed up by a caramel sweetness and just a hint of white bread. The hops dominate here but the malt is a nice touch to balance things out a bit. 4/5 The flavor profile starts off with a bit of light caramel and white bread before transitioning to lemon zest, tangerine, orange peel, and pineapple. The combination of citrus and tropical hop notes here is quite tasty and well crafted. The malt is minimal but does cut the sharpness of the bitterness which is moderate and lingers moderately after swallowing. 4/5 This is a medium bodied pale ale that is lightly drying with only a light carbonation footprint and a light lingering dryness. It is actually quite wetting before the dryness kicks in which is a nice thirst quenching touch. 4/5 This is a well crafted APA that features a very nice combination of citrus and tropical hop notes while not going crazy bitter on the drinker. The minimal malt is just enough to cut the bitterness a bit and level things out so the bitterness doesn't go overboard. 4/5

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits, some citrus. Taste is citrus, malts, some tropical fruits, a hint of pine, no bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid and highly crushable beer.

The complete opposite of a juicy pale ale. This was bitter, harsh, and abbrasive. There was not even a hint of fruitiness, juiciness, or sweetness of any kind. This was just pure bite through and through.

Pour is a gorgeous golden copper color, nearly clear, with an off-white head. Aroma is slightly dank, with bright citrus notes of tangerine and passion fruit.

The taste is citrusy hops, with tangerine flavors prominent, and there’s also a subtle malt note that is nice. This would be an excellent lawnmower beer, IMHO, especially if you wanted something with a little bite.

Easy to drink in what could be a get in my facehole now style with big fruit aromatics replete with trendy juicy hop bomb levels of late hop additions. Decent carbonation for a body which leaves heavy lacing in a citrus hop juice apa that is also crystal clear in its appearance.
Very well done APA that is going to be missed once its gone.
