Hitting those darker than average amber and orange strides in a pale ale, 2/5" white head, some spotty lacing. Aroma hit some good C hop notes, maybe even Simcoe.

Taste definitely delivered on the bitter end (both front and back end) while pairing it with some lemongrass like notes and toasted pale malts. Slight bit of caramel, unsweetened.

Good stuff with a solid +50 ibu impact that isn't tiresome or one dimensional.

I had this at the Brewery in Warrenville. A nice clear copper color with a thin head and no carbonation. I got a slight floral smell and a bit of tartness in taste with a slight bitter finish. A perfectly named brew. Ok lacing. I can't say it was great but I can't knock it either.
