Hazy bright orange color. Nice bubbling carbonation. Fluffy head. Looks like a typical pale. Nice icy lace.
Sweeter than normal pale malt. Sharp bitter hop. Bitter hops rule here. Pale (crystal?) malt, which even has a slight burnt hint.
Malt and hops form a bitter symphony, at 2 different levels. A bit flowery in the hop but mostly pilsnery bitter all around.
Sorta bubbly, yet relatively easy to drink. A little bite on the way down. Mellows out after a bit. It's really more of a pale than an IPA, or perhaps an English IPA. IT's a bit too "spiky" to drink all night. Not bad but too bitter. But I'm not in love with pales to begin with, so take that for what it's worth.

Bright amber appearance with a large off white head and good lacing. Earthy aroma with a toasted malt edge; really quite pleasant to be able to downplay any citrusy aspects. Taste delivers on the floral, herbal quality of the hops along with some spice in the aftertaste. Add in a touch of sweetness courtesy of the malts. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Sam Adams Boston Lager glass.
Appearance: Pours a translucent, light brown color with a large, foamy head that dissipates quickly and leaves some nice lacing.
Smell: Buttery and surprisingly malty. Grassy hops come through in the background.
Taste: Slight bitterness up front. Develops a bit of sweet maltiness towards the back. Hits you right at the end with some grassy hops and leaves a pleasant aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: A bit on the light-bodied side but still not too bad.
Drinkability: A pretty decent IPA. Not as hoppy as most American IPAs but still very tasty and very sessionable. Certainly a pleasant surprise.

Pours a sunny straw yellow with a vast, lasting head. The aroma is mild and a little corn-like, with some light toffee. The flavor is light, refreshing, with some toffee, a little sourdough bread, and some sour-ish floral hops. The finish is a bit disappointing, since the sourness keeps building instead of a satisfying bitterness. But overall not bad IPA if you're not looking for something deep and hoppy.

12 oz brown bottle. No apparent date, just a bottling code.
It pours a clear orange/amber/gold with a fluffy white head that sticks for a bit and leaves some decent lacing.
The smell is very doughy with an overlying of English hops. English hops aren't always my favorite and here im getting a bit of a vomity/tomato scent.
The flavor is simple, perhaps a bit vegetal and herbal with the hops. Not too much bitterness although it comes through in the aftertaste. The malt is rich but not sweet, it has more of a grainy/bready characteristic.
It tastes pretty traditional, it doesn't get out of control with the hops. It has a pretty good mouthfeel as well.
