Tasted by half-pint at the Pevril of the Peak, Manchester, a lovely pub with fantastic colourful exterior tile-work and a lo...ng history. Served by the handpull without a sparkler.

A: it pours a light straw hue, bright and clear, with a very thin layer of foams on the top, leaving fine lacing along the way; microscopic fizz detected.
S: citrussy-zesty and lightly spicy, backed by a deeper, almost resinous touch of hops. Very light and soul-lifting~~
T: dryish zesty (like white grapefruits) palate with a lightly spicy and salty twist, while zingy spicy bitterness lingers well towards the tangy and absolutely dryish finish.
M&D: this beer is clean on the palate but rather tangy in the aftertaste; just like most other British Blond Ales, this one is citrussy-bitter and very light, but its extra-tangy edge makes it more in line with (my own) definition of a thirst-quencher. Pretty good~~
