Crisp • Citrusy • Refreshing. This nicely-balanced German Wheat beer is brewed with English Hops, Napa Valley Blood Oranges, Midwest Wheat, and the finest Canadian Barley Malt. Carries a slight bitterness with a crisp, clean taste of blood orange followed by an earthy finish.

This feels good but taste actually seems watery and im searching for the orange hard. The basic banana clove flavor is present. Ehhhhh....

Bottle to snifter. Look is orange and slightly cloudy. A bit darker and clearer than a pure hefe. Smell is strong banana esters. Taste is breads up front, rather clean and a touch crisp. I don’t get any of the orange, may revisit on future bottles. Feel is decent for a hefe, maybe a bit thin and less creamy. Carb is fine. Overall a solid hefe, maybe not the fruited hefe I was hoping for.

355 ml bottle
Served in a weizen glass
This beer pours amber with golden highlights and a slight haze. It is topped with a couple inches of beige head that leaves little lacing.
The aroma is the traditional banana and clove with an added orange element.
The blood orange almost replaces the banana in the flavor. The orange definitely overpowers it. There is also a spiciness from the yeast.
Medium bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel
This is a decent hefeweizen with a blood orange twist. It is okay. I doubt I would buy it. This bottle was given to me by a friend.

Blood Orange pours a hazy bright yellow color, with a small, but long lasting head. Spicy and dry aroma. Flavor is very spicy, on the lighter side, some subtle banana notes, and very weak orange flavors. Good body and feel. Overall, a very spicy hefeweizen, very little orange.

A - Orange brown hue slightly hazy with a 1/4 inch of froth. May have been bottled a while back since some sediment is caked in the bottom of the bottle.
S - Not much blood orange just faint wheat and coriander from the hefeweizen.
T - Taste is weird its got some bitter orange flavor mixed with hefeweizen notes and finishes acidic again with the blood orange. Sour peel flavor too.
M - Light to medium easy to crush
Overall the flavors really don't mend that well to enjoy again interesting concept but just doesn't taste great.

L-The beer pours golden with an orange hue. The head is two fingers of fine off white bubbles. The head recedes to a thin film leaving sporadic legs of lace.
S-The blood orange is apparent on the nose. It smells natural. It's not overpowering, but still the dominant element. Behind the fruit lies that familiar mustiness I associate with wheat beers.
T- The beer starts and finishes with an odd melding of the blood orange and the esters from the beer. I have to admit I'm not overly happy with the combination. It seems to be fighting itself. The blood orange wins out in the end, but its weaker here on the taste buds than it was in the nose. The beer doesn't really come off as a hefeweizen. The esters I normally associate with the style are ultimately overwhelmed by the blood orange.
F-The mouthfeel is medium overall. The carbonation is light. It's light enough to be sessionable, but I'm not sure it's good enough to want more than one.
O- It's ok. It's more of an American wheat beer with blood orange than a true hefeweizen. Fine to try, but not worth seeking out.
