Notes: Ellicottville has long been a fall destination for leaf peepers and adventure seekers. Adding to the attractions and our best-kept secret is Pumpkinville. What a better way to share this hidden gem than with a beer! Brewed with locally sourced ingredients, including locally-harvested pumpkin, fresh-roasted coffee bean, and finished with seasonal spice & aroma. Big, bold & balanced flavor.

I did not have high hopes for this one. It looked like a good concept but I was sure I would be disappointed. I'm pleasently surprised. Pours pumpkin orange. Bold pumpkin pie aroma. This one has big flavors of brown sugar and pumkin with a heavy coffee malt finish. Fantastic from start to finish. This could be my new favorite pumpkin ale.

I let this one sit in my fridge for a few weeks, patiently waiting for a cooler night to sample it - cuz who the fuck wants a pumpkin ale when the air conditioner is running? Not me. Well it's now October 3rd and I've donned my first flannel of the season, so why the fuck not pop the top?

*Pops the top*

This smells like a pumpkin pie if you removed the filling and just spiced the shit out of the crust instead. Something to do with the malts they use to try and imitate pie crust, I'm sure. Not much (as in almost none) coffee on the nose or the tongue either, to my utter annoyance. Don't bill your product as something it's not, folks. This is your standard pumpkin ale; It's very spice-forward, with an odd, onion-y note that lingers a bit on the back end. I don't like it. It's overly-carbonated and coats the tongue in a slimy, just-woke-up scuzz.

Bottled on 8/7/19. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours amber with solid clarity; creamy light khaki head that falls leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of graham crackers along with some buttered popcorn. Some squash and pumpkin puree. Subtle spice notes. Subtle hints of caramel. Malts are there. The coffee is there, but somewhat mild in the aroma department. The flavors follow the nose. More graham cracker crust. Some cinnamon and allspice. The coffee notes are subtle and almost get lost at times, but it still has alot going on in the flavor department nonetheless. More caramel in the mix. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is an awesome pumpkin ale. Great aromas and flavors. The coffee is subtle, but there's still a ton of great stuff going on that it doesn't even matter. This beer is perfect for the cooler fall weather. Definitely worth checking out if you come across it.

Pumpkin Ale brewed with coffee. Poured from a bottle into a Bruery tulip. The pour is clear and dark amber with about a finger of off-white head. Average retention. The nose is incredible. It smells like extra-rich Pumking with a little coffee. I get aromas of fresh pumpkin pie (with the crust), cocoa, coffee, and even a hint of peanut butter.

Medium body with a firm feel. It's a lot like Pumking on the palate, with the faint coffee flavors taking the place of some of the spice. Very rich and easy to drink. Hard to believe a beer with this much flavor is only 6.5% abv. Lots of pumpkin pie with whipped cream and that dreamy coffee flavor. What I like is that this isn't a coffee beer with some pumpkin. It's a pumpkin beer with a little coffee. Highly recommended.

As a fan of the Coldspresso, I was happy to round out my Wegmans 6 pack with two of these even though I'm not yet in the mood for fall pumpkin beer.

Pours just like Coldspresso, but the nose replaces that awesome coffee aroma with pumpkin. Which properly sets the expectation for pumpkin forward flavor.

Sadly, that pumpkin flavor comes off a bit artificial. It's not balanced by the coffee very much at all - the coffee is WAY in the background here. I get it more on the aftertaste.

It's a very good blonde ale that has artificial pumpkin injected into it. Had no trouble finishing it as it goes down easy, but I'm not in any hurry to drink again.

Disappointed with lack of coffee character, but passable as a pumpkin spice coffee creamer. The combination of caffe au lait taste with the feel of a carbonated espresso soda is jarring.
