Honestly I hardly remember drinking this. I do recall a nice hazy looking ipa, with the usual culprits in the aroma. It was just... all of them. Drank bitter for obvious reasons, and the abv seems unnecessary when the malt is overrun by an army of hops.

This beer has been beefed up to 10% abv recently I guess.Came in a nonic a deep copper/bronze with a one finger white head that lasted a longtime.Aromas of sharp citric hops along with some more hop imparted pine resin, not much sweetness and/or alcohol detected for how big it is.Dryer and bitter on the palate with grapefruit rind and deep resiny notes,a little alcohol sweetness butit's kept in check well for the style. If you like dryer tongue shredding hopped up beers this is for you,the name fits.

sipper, and yes a hop bomb, with bitterness mostly. A little malt backbone. No aroma. Some citrus taste, lemon peel. Not super drinkable.ken’s growler from Village Beer merchant.Reddish tinge.OK as a pale.A bit much alcohol.Maybe better first day on tap.

A - pours a medium copper color with a very thin white lacing ring around the glass, crystal clear, and no carbonation. The overall color is bright and vibrant.

S - Light orange aroma and biscuity caramel malt. The aroma is very distant, I'm hoping it's due to the serving temp, will let it warm up.

T - Toasted caramel front and throughout for a solid malt base. Midway through: some pine bitterness with a subdued frutiness and a small touch of floral for a VERY brief moment. Ends with a mildly pine lingering bitterness.

M - Thick medium body, very gentle and smooth on the tongue.

O - This beer needs to be renamed, it's far from a hop bomb and more balanced than anything with a small amount of bite at the end.

Presented at the pub a copper tinged amber, clear, small head but you could see it was going to leave a decent amount of lacing
Smell was heavy on the pine hops and light on malt
Taste was also heavy on the pine semi-sweet and with a slight citrusy orange note in the finish
Mouthfeel was lacking it was too light and just needed a bit to chew on
Drinkability this wasn't a really bad beer it was just too thin but if you wanted your hop fix it would suit just fine
