On tap at Acme Bar and Pizza in Rochester, NY.
This pours a fairly dark brown for an IPA, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.
Smells super caramelly and sweet, with not much in the way of hop aroma, maybe some pine.
This is just a super poorly done IPA. It tastes sweet and under attenuated, super caramelly and candied, with very little that would actually scream IPA. As meh as it gets.
This is medium bodied, with a sweet and sickly mouthfeel, not drinkable at all.
Ugh.

Color is harvest gold, lots of activity and a resilient off white head. Decent lacing. Looking good.
I pick up some peach, some pine in the nose.
Sweetness up front. burnt orange perhaps. Some sourness - like licking a kiwi. Creaminess and some ending herbal spice in the back of the throat.
Some bitterness lingering, and there is some heaviness in the finish. Too carbonated for my liking.
An IPA with some bite. I do wish there was either more crispness or totally creamy smooth instead of in between, but well crafted and refreshing.

Very reddish copper colored pour with a light tan had. Smells malty and slightly of citrus but overall not a huge aroma. Tastes very malty and less like citrus but it has the slight taste of a peach with some age on it. Slightly over carbonated with a lingering bitterness on the tongue after the swallow.

Note: The bottle says the ABV is 8%, not the 7% that's currently listed here on BA. . . .
A: Poured from the bottle into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is coppery-amber, with more reddish hues when backlit. Half-finger ivory head on top.
S: Juicy hops and caramel malt, nicely balanced. Some citrus, some pine and some tropical fruit. Also something that seems just a little bit "off" - reminds me of some type of hard candy.
T: First impression is the mouthfeel - this is thicker and maltier than expected. Good base of caramel malt and brown sugar or candied sugar is followed by modest hops - I expected them to be more pronounced, to be honest. Hops are somewhat piney, and taste of generic tropical fruits as well. Lingering modestly bitter pine at the finish. Bottle says it's hopped with Apollo hops, a hop I'm not familiar with. I expected more bitterness though.
M: Pretty thick and slick - closer to full-bodied than medium-. Carbonation is there, but loses out to the thickness of the body.
O: Good. Like a thick Imperial Red IPA, really, more akin to the Nugget Nectars of the world than your standard American IPA.

8% abv. Seemed a little heavier than I anticipated. Buttery, citrus-y and some bitter with a pale ale like finish.

Came to the table in a nonic a clear rich lighter amber with a half finger lacey slightly off white head atop.Fruity hops in the nose, not to sharp with some biscuit malt and faint alcohol as well.Flavors are more of fruity hops than sharp bitterness with lingering herbal notes, somewhat sweet underneath but the hops win out.A solid ipa,it seemed a little bigger than it was.
