Style: Hefeweizen

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 4.80%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
The dream begins with open top fermentation. At high krausen a foamy, rocky yeast head crests the sides of the fermenter releasing notes of black pepper and spicy clove. Unfiltered and cloudy with yeast, it's slightly tart & downright refreshing.

Poured into a pint glass.

A- Pours a golden color with a good two finger head that dissipates very quickly. Lots of bubbles coming up to the service and it is very clear.

S- A very fruity aroma. It is difficult to tell what fruit is the most prevalent, but it seems to be a tie between banana, apple, and pear. It is pleasantly yeasty and also has just a hint of spice to it.

T- The taste is very representative of the head. Big fruitiness and a pleasant yeasty flavor. It is on the sweet side but this is balanced by a slight bitterness that seems to be brought from the wheat. Hops are completely undetectable. Very refreshing.

M- Tingling carbonation and a refreshing crispness. On the thinner side but it goes down very easy. Nothing to complain about.

O- Refreshing, crisp, and bursting with fruit. What more could you ask for on a spring or summer day?
