“Without sway, there can be no balance.” Our Double IPA gracefully boasts grapefruit rind, pineapple and honeysuckle notes with a hint of earthy forest floor. Behold the wonder!

Crystal clear brew; lively and gold, with a firm snow white head. Great retention and nice lines of lacing.
A touch each of pineapple and mandarin orange on the nose, but mostly the aroma is carried by pine, resin, and biscuit.
On the palate, it's immediately hoppy and boozy. Pineapple, papaya, ruby red grapefruit, resin, pine, and notably kiwi and star fruit, all with pale biscuit and a slight dankness. Surely the Mosaic gives this beer some of its unique character, but I'm thinking the Azacca plays a large role, as well.
Crisp and very lively, especially considering the high ABV.

A beautiful slightly hazy dark golden color with a dense head. Subtle malty aroma. Flavor is full bodied and superbly balanced between malt and hops. Dry finish. Medium mouthfeel. Overall, stellar!

Clear, amber color. Big, white head. The aroma of pine, tropical fruits, and honey. Juicy, balanced taste. The hoppy bitterness is sharp enough but not overwhelming. I didn't notice any alcohol notes, even though ABV is high

Great deep golden color and a nice bold aroma. Has a kind of woodsy feel to it. Taste more like an ale rather than an IPA but definitely enjoyable brew.

David kindly provided me with this unique beer, for which I am grateful. I'm serving it in a tulip glass at a cool 46 degrees. The pour resulted in a frothy, airy one-finger, white head with average retention. The slow dissipation left some lacing on the glass. The beer's color is a distinctive pale amber with straw yellow hues charting at SRM 12 and a cloudy texture. The
Nosing the glass, I smell grapefruit, pine, resin, grass, herbal, floral blossom, and oranges. The malt complex has caramel, toasted bread crust, bread, and doughy biscuit notes. Smelling the glass, I detect earthy dirt, tropical, and light strawberry starburst aroma. The hops are bright and aromatic on the nose.
The hops are displayed here, and the malt backbone is firm yet does not hinder the hops' flavors. The hops I taste are pine, resin, orange, grapefruit, papaya, strawberry starburst, grass, and floral blossoms. The malt backbone has notes of caramel, doughy biscuits, toasted cereal grains, and some malty sweetness. The other flavors are light phenol, bubblegum, yeasty, and earthy.
The mouthfeel is astringent, and the finish is somewhat tannic. The body is medium-plus and has medium carbonation.
The hop profile in this beer is a bit different. It has a West Coast vibe with a fruity undertone. I am generally not a fan of these odd profile combinations, yet this one works seamlessly and impressively. I enjoy the extensive, malty profile, allowing the hops to shine bright. I am a fan of this beer. I would have liked to see a longer head, but that is nitpicking. It's tasty stuff from Troegs.

Pours clear copper-gold with three fingers fine white head. Full curtain lacing and surface cap. No floaties or sediment.
Sweet grapefruit, honey, pine aromas.
Nice pine hop bite, grapefruit, pepper, pineapple flavors.
Bracing hop content with no alcohol heat. I go years without access to this beer and when I return it has the same delicious consistency.

Wow. Excellent imperial IPA. Heavy hop, but not sharp; piney, fruity smooth. A favorite.

Clear, pale gold appearance with a large off white head that left good lacing. Resinous aroma dotted with citrus. Dank, piney flavor that steers clear of the hazy trend. Pleasantly bitter aftertaste. Nicely carbonated, full-to-medium bodied mouthfeel with a good handle on the abv. Very enjoyable.

Enjoyed a couple of snifters at the Crust and Craft in Rehoboth Beach, DE 7-26-23 for $7.
Beer was served golden with an okay white head.
Nose was nice, citrus fruit forward but not super pungent.
Taste was nice. Lighter malt base displayed a nice array of hoppy fruit flavor including grapefruit, orange, with a touch of strawberry. Finishes with a piney hope note; 6/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and both refreshing and smooth.
Overall a very enjoyable DIPA.

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, and a Mosaic-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a malty-sweet, floral, and a piney-hoppy bitter finish. As it warms, that piney-bitter bite becomes a bit more prominent. This is clean and tasty...pretty good!
