Appearance The orange, thick and hazy body was covered with a wonderful head that lingered for many minutes and left some nice lacing on my glass.
Smell Classic East Coast Pale Ale aroma. The light fruits and biscuit malts make up this enjoyable nose. The fuggle or Amarillo hops (or some other hops that we dont get a lot of out here in the PacNW but that they seem to have in abundance back east) are sharp and inviting.
Taste Ah, this is incredible. The nose falls cleanly to the tongue here. The fruity yet substantial hop profile is right on target. This is a classic PA PA (Pennsylvania Pale Ale).
The beautiful balance of hops and malts is dead on. The big biscuit mates perfectly with the citrus and floral hops. The fruity sugars are unrefined yet not overly sweet. They have their purpose here. Overall, this is harmony in motion. Mozart in a glass.
Mouthfeel Impeccably smooth and well blended. This medium-bodied Pale Ale keeps the mouth alive and wanting more. It is chewy with a sophisticated sweetness and begs to be held in between the cheeks (then why am I chugging it?).
Drinkability I poured this then had to go take care of something so it warmed a bit. This beer at cellar or close to room temperature will go down in three gulps. It is probably one of the most drinkable beers that Ive ever had.
Comments A big BA thanks to ericaweizen for sending me this treasure from PA.

bottle to pint glass.
Sampling of 4 troegs beers on New Years Eve.
AROMA: Light piney Hops. Grass, Barley.
LOOK: Dark Yellow
TASTE: Stale, grains, grass or hay. Not great. Strong alcohol taste for a plain old Pale Ale.
FEEL: light to meduim body, flat.
