look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

A-pours an orange golden color with an off white head with decent retention
S-mango, pineapple, orange, some pine, apricot
T-more mango and pineapple, apricot and pine in the finish some sweetness throughout
M-medium bodied, I agree with others it seems a bit thin
O-mango is prevalent but not overwhelming, also not the most complex IPA I have had. Wouldn't seek it out, but would drink it if available

Poured from bottle into IPA glass. It pours a honey-orange color with one finger of milk-white head and significant lacing with good retention. It smells of mango, pine needles, floral hops, and a sweet malt. The mango is at the forefront of the taste followed by a rather sour lemon and finishing with a blast of Simcoe and Comet hops. I'm not certain whether the sourness is intended or not but I find it distracting. It has lively carbonation and an easy-to-drink ABV of 6.2% I'm usually a fan of Troegs but I find the sourness of this ale a little off-putting.

Scent of a juiced IPA. Really nice. Sweet citrus and some tropical melon dominate. Getting the mango in the aftertaste along with some slight pine. Really a sort of mild flavored but tasty brew. Solid carbonation, good beer.

On tap at Bonds Tavern in West Orange. Pours a ruddy, copper hue with minimal frothing. Assertive aroma replete with hints of citrus and grapefruit. Fresh, floral flavor.

Can poured into glass

Translucent amber, some carbonation, frothy off white one finger foam cap

Aroma of mango

Thin light whisp of mango

Taste is thin ,light ,

Starts well with promise on the mango aroma but doesn't follow thru in the taste

Nice beer

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into my trusty Dogfish tulip

L: Semi-opaque golden orange pour. Thin white head... spotty lacing.

S: Mango and tropical fruits. Citrusy hops.

T/F: Somewhat 1-dimensional in taste. Fruity hops... noticeable mango and tropical fruits. A bit of citrus. Thin in body... carbonation is on point but not enough oomph. Finish is fruity.

O: An okayish flavor profile... but just too thin/weak for the flavor this beer should be packing. Really expected more... especially coming on the heels of 'Nugget Nectar'. Glad I only got a 6'er.

This beer pours a hazy copper orange color with a creamy, one finger, off white head. Retention is minimal and there are many spots of lacing left on the glass.

The smell is subtle at best. A touch of mango, pine and bready malts are barely even noticable.

Taste is even worse. It starts off with sweet and juicy mango that is almost immediately swept aside by a strange green vegetal taste, some bready malts and a very odd mineral like flavor. The flavor profile of this beer is pretty wretched.

Feel is thin and watery.

Overall this beer is not very good. Not sure what happened with this one, because I've never had a Troegs beer that I thought should not have passed the quality control testing. I guess there is a first time for everything.

Poured from bottle. Agree with most of the reviews below. This beer looks pretty and enticing when poured. It has an intriguing aroma, too. Then you taste it and that's when it goes haywire. It lacks body and the flavors definitely clash. If the can didn't say mango then you would never know it was there. As the beer warms, the finish becomes more and more unbearable. This was a "final beer of the night and don't care if I finish it" beer. Will not buy again
