Adding watery citric fruit to beer is never easy. Some (Carton) do it better than others. As much as I like Troegs, this mango flattens the taste curve of First Cut.
a) Pretty reddish amber body, cloudy, with a short lived short head and a few galaxy arms of lace.
s) Great if you like fruit. Juicy mango, tangerine, fruit punch over a background of hops.
t) Caramel base layered with fruit salad of mango, orange, pineapple. Orange/mango smoothie pre-dominates with a slight floral and earthy set of hops.
f) medium. Crisp despite the sweet main event
o) 2nd place finisher. A bit too sweet for me.

Pours somewhat hazy copper orange with medium head and some lace. Nose is nicely hoppy with fresh tropical and orange notes, and without any artificial notes that I was worried it might have. The taste is refreshing and flavorful. The mango is light and adds to the flavor instead of trying to overpower it. Tangy and fruity, but firmly an IPA. Leaves a light prickly zingy feeling on the tongue. Overall, I really enjoyed this beer. I believe it is better than previous versions.

12 FL OZ. bottle
Served in an IPA glass

This beer pours amber in color with golden highlights. It has a slight haze. It is topped with two inches of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.

The smell is dank and citrusy.

The taste is citrus. It is kind of sweet. There is light pine in the finish.

Pretty light bodied with plenty of carbonation

It is a nice, easy drinking, light IPA.

Appearance: pours an orange color with a 1" head that slowly falls.

Smell: tropical fruits and a floral hop aroma is easy to detect.

Taste: caramel, mango, orange, pineapple, some floral components, and a bit of earthiness arrive late.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Crisp throughout with some dryness late.

Overall: I enjoyed this beer and found it somewhat refreshing.

I luv maybe an hour from the brewery and spend most of my waking hours closer. I also like mango-flavored things. However, this was a letdown. A touch dry, not much discernible fruit, pours orange with minimal head and minima lacing. Not bad, but I’d really love to see a near-hometown brewery do better.

Bottle "freshest by 05-29-18" into pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a medium-coarse light-amber head. Initial impression is muted pine and citrus, with grassy, earthy hops predominating. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish is a little stronger on the citrus notes, but still very muted. Underwhelming.
