look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Bottles on 4.18.12. Poured into a Troegs pint.

Appearance: Pale straw color with a one finger white head. Retention fades to a thin ring aorund the glass . Has a bit of sudsy lacing.

Aroma: Floral and herbal hops. Some citrusy/lemon zest and pale malts

Taste: Same as aroma. It's plenty hoppy for a pilsner. Floral and herbal hops give a little spicy mouthfeel. Some citrus zest and pale traditional style pilsner malt.

Mouthfeel: Lighter side of medium. Fizzy carbonation and mouthfeel. As I said, the hops give a little spicy character and the bitterness carries all the way through the finish.

Simply a good summer beer.

look: 4.5 | smell: 3 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5

Appearance: Pours a foamy two finger head that holds up for a few minutes. Golden straw and clear in color. Significantly effervescent -- carbonation looks very healthy and comes to life upon giving the glass a light shake.

Smell: Grassy, earthy, but sweet malts with a nice hint of hops. Faint hint of lemon and a very slight skunkiness.

Taste: Sweet malts and a spicy, buttery flavor quickly give way to a strong bitter hops finish. Clean, fresh, and crisp, some mild citrus overtones but not too complex. This is a great summer beer.

Mouthfeel: Carbonation very present on each taste. Goes down very smooth. I could drink these all day easily. Nearly perfect mouthfeel for a pils.

Overall: A- This is just a solid, easy-drinking, well-balanced pils that I think would appeal to a broad set of palettes. Tough to find anything wrong with it.

Poured into a standard pint, bottled 4/16/12.

A: Clear, bright golden color, finger of bright white head that settles pretty quickly, leaves some patchy lacing.

S: Nice clean, bready malt smell, some citrus hops lingering in the backround. A bit of earthy, herbal aromas.

T: Clean bready malts with a light citrus hop as well, some graham cracker malts round out the taste.

M: Crisp, clean, refreshing, light to medium bodied. This is a great summer beer, would be perfect with bbq.

O: Perfect for warm weather. With the warmer months ahead, this would make for a perfect summer sessioner.
